We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Very nice. When I was working rigs overseas, I worked with a lot of different nationalities on the rigs - one rig had 37 different nations represented. One guy, a specialist we used occasionally was a Scotsman and a fly-fishing enthusiast who tied his own. I use to save some of the finer Wild Turkey feathers from my hunting trips to bring to him, Ziplok bags full, with their multitude of both heathery and brilliant colors. He really prized having them to work with.
I am a fisherman, but after watching this I think perhaps I may no longer be able to claim I am a true fisherman. Reminds me of A River Runs Through It. Fishing is not only or even primarily about catching a fish. It is about how we live our lives. Beautiful film. Thank you for sharing
