We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

High-energy, high wattage yesterday: What do you disagree with in this speech?

I would be especially interested in the views of anti-Trumpers. Other than the harping at the end about the election, I'm with the guy.

The problem is that none of it matters. The Constitution has no standing and the enemy is perfectly happy to cheat to steal elections.

I agree. However to say "harping about the election" is hiding from the facts. It is absolutely trrue that the Democrats stole the election. Not "just" that they changed the rules allowing them to get votes or suppress votes. But that the massively stole the election with fake ballots, voting machine fraud and counting Biden votes multiple times. The steal was so big and so blatant because Trump probably got in excess of 10 million more votes than Biden did.

This is not something we should just accept and say well there is always 2024. They stole the election and they stole Democracy and not just from Trump but from his 85 million voters. We are still pissed out here and still want justice and NOT to wait until 2024. I am so pissed that I would actually like to see the patriot movement bomb the Capitol when Biden gives the SOTU speech, even though I know that is fake news made up by the Dems to give Biden an excuse not to appear in public and embarrass himself.

Harping on the election? What election.

When Obama got elected I stated that the Chicago model for election theft would now be taken national.

There has not been an honest election in that city for 100 years, if ever. The Democrats and fake news have ruled for many decades, and now, Obama, a child of that machine is poised to move it to Washington.

They didn't bother to put it into action with Hillary. Trump was a total surprise. To them he was a total joke.

But it was out in force for 2020. They fixed that error in judgement swiftly.

Just like there has not been a non Democrat Mayor of Chicago for a century, we will never again see a Republican President.

It is done, finished, pack your bags. The machine is now in charge across the nation.

I agree with others above. Without massive election reform and actual rule of law - the writing and enforcement of it, including judges at all levels - none of this matters.

They only have to cheat in certain places, at just the right time, with just the right amount, and then rely on judges that are either stupid, compromised, or corrupt. It's both simple and easy when you control all the levers of power, including the lapdog media.

Where are the checks on leftist power today? There was only one, the election process, and by all available evidence, that has been remoevd. And they know it, and act accordingly.

At this point paying attention to conservative politics feels more like taking the blue pill, so you can pretend you have any voice whatsoever.

I agree with all of the above too.

I will never vote again until I see evidence the problems above have been corrected. I'm leaning to in person only and mandatory photo id - with honest "checkers". Anything less is a waste of time...I have no confidence in any future election without certifiable reform.
