Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Re: Face It: The Open-Borders Crowd Won
I accept that the Open-Borders Crowd is in power, but I do not accept that they won. The election was challenged as fraudulent and illegal and it was not shown to be honest and fair because there were no findings of facts. A truly “transparent” system is responsible for proving its transparency. So, now we live in the age of heretics and conformists, with the latter self-appointed to identify and condemn the former, and hopefully oversee their expunging.
Just remember, we got there by intolerance. Intolerance is the principle social feature of the last 5 years. Start every day with a little sabotage, because it's not going away without your help. What would Irish Democracy look like in 2021, It's strategies and tactics?
"“Irish Democracy,” the phenomenon by which the general members of a polity resist (and undermine) the mandates of their self serving, self-anointed governing class by simply refusing to comply with them or cooperate." I think it would include withholding revenues to bad actors, using cash when it makes sense, buying American, supporting local businesses and other resisters, supplementing children's education, deflecting their surveillance, clogging the system with drek and nonsense.........How to throw sand in the gears? It's ridiculous to underwrite the people who mean you harm. The Bee is always accurate.
Interesting how Democrats discover the utility of walls and barricades when it's them that's feeling threatened. First full day of the fake president and fake vice president. Stole the election, we all saw it this time, it was a sloppy steal because Trump was winning in a landslide and they didn't have the time or other options to steal it gracefully.
The Make America Bankrupt Again crowd intends to loot the country, sell off citizenships and jobs and destroy the middle class. It was a nice country you had there, it would be a shame if something happened to it. Hail to the Thief
QUOTE: No inauguration has been this empty in a century of American history. And at no inauguration have the spectators been outnumbered by a raw display of armed force. . . . Even as Biden’s team prepped the executive orders that would end the national emergency at the border and shut down construction of the wall, new walls topped by razor wire were rising across the imperial city. The new Fortress of Government sealed off two miles of the National Mall and parts of downtown D.C. and filled it with more soldiers than are deployed in Iraq. The Secret Service designated green and red zones. . . . Democrats had deployed more soldiers in D.C. than they had in Iraq and Afghanistan while authorizing them to use lethal force and investigating their politics before the deployment. The radical leftists who had resisted using the military to fight terrorism or secure the border from invasion were eager to deploy the military against the people of the United States of America. The handfuls of ordinary people who arrived, as Americans always do, to attend the inauguration of a new president were confronted with heavy weapons and barbed wire. D.C. had become a Baghdad and Berlin of checkpoints, choking off access to much of the city, closing roads, bridges, and metro stations. Soldiers could be seen on every corner, and the 25,000 troops were bolstered by 4,000 Marshalls, and a motley crew of local forces, including 200 members of the NYPD, 40 members of the Chicago police, New Jersey and Maryland state troopers, Miami-Dade cops, and other law enforcement officers who were needed back home. Filling D.C. with soldiers meant that no one was going to measure Biden’s crowds. The only crowds were heavily armed and had been ordered to come. The complete lack of enthusiasm for the new one-party state that was getting its Mussolini on was the dog that didn’t bark. This isn’t the pageantry of Stalin or Hitler. It’s the weary theater of Brezhnev, a senescent leader of a decaying regime being propped up by desperate threats of force by the nomenklatura. Where are the adoring crowds, the joyous mobs celebrating and the people cheering the tremendous victory of the democracy of Google, Facebook, Amazon, AT&T, Comcast and their D.C. lobbyists and associates over the Rust Belt and the flyovers? Biden and the Democrats celebrated their democratic victory with barbed wire, troops in the streets, political terror, and the threat of even more political repression to come. Biden, we are told by the political interests and corporations advocating this, is incredibly popular. But the crowds of his devotees can’t be allowed to come to Washington D.C. Anyone who doubts that Biden is incredibly popular is inciting violence and will have to be rooted out as an insidious threat to our democracy. The more people doubt Biden’s popularity, the longer D.C. will have to be under military occupation until finally no one doubts his legitimacy in office. https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2021/01/hail-thief-daniel-greenfield/ I was looking forward to seeing all the grand photos, but alas.....there seem to not be very many, and they're all closeups. I guess we won't be arguing about the crowd size this time. Maybe we ought to.
Here's a video of the "crowds" that might interest you: https://youtu.be/jKOgYYzVFfw
If you think that's bad, look at this. Joe has his earpiece in, but he doesn’t realize that when the voice speaks, sometimes he needs to say things, and sometimes he needs to do things.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1351932275097743366 “Salute the Marines” … So when they said "Salute the Marines" in his earpiece, rather than saluting the Marines, he just repeated "Salute the Marines." A friend watched that whole grim parade, and says a soldier had to guide him through every single step, literally at one point saying "here are steps." And if he wears an earpiece walking around the capitol, do you think he wore one in the debates?

Yes. I was wondering where all the photos were as well.
Thanks for the links Aggie and mudbug. If New York and it's surrounds are such wonderful places why have they not been able to eliminate the Russian Mafia?
As a Long Island native, when you go after a Russian crime figure, your friends, family and you will end up dead.
Democrats are following their tactics by canceling their enemies and their families. Criminal or politician the tactic works. A little sabotage from individual states as well. Eight states, to include Missouri, are changing education funding by providing education dollars to the student and not to the institution. Give the legislatures your support and help make this law. Now we have competition rather than monopoly and we bypass junk like critical race theory.
Where am I on the oppression matrix?
Is there a spot for, "wondering why so many oppressed Americans are fat, and have better cell phones than I do."? Climate Change Is Happening Because of ‘Systemic Racism ’: HOW, exactly??????????????????????????? Show me. Is it all Whites? All Blacks? All Asians? The Chinese? The Inuits? Tibetans?
Study Finds Most Americans Support Making Wall Around Capitol Permanent To Keep Politicians In: Also, keep them out of movies and TV and radio, and block their cell-phones and cut their land lines. Trump Derangement Syndrome in a post-Trump world: Never fear. Trump is now in their brains, or whatever they use for brains... The SHADOW knowssssss, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... Wow, Politico Is No Longer Covering Up Biden's Cognitive Decline: I saw that. Convinced it's always gonna be that way??????????? I have....doubts. Trump Leaves Washington, Tells Supporters: ‘We Will Be Back in Some Form’: He's in Leftists' brainsssssssssssssssssss. Conservatives will do nothing to stop their erasure. Since I was a child I heard conservatives lament the leftward tilt of academia and media - they decided to be content with Fox and Hillsdale and did nothing to enter into and change the institutions.
Cries of fraud and illegitimacy will be stifled (they were only allowed in the beginning in the hopes that something like January 6th would happen and boy did it happen beyond what "they" could've hoped) and anyone who honestly thought anything would come of court challenges after the Durham distraction knows nothing of how real courts operate (there was no way on earth anything was going to survive a motion to dismiss on standing or failure to state a claim). Hunker down, because this is going to be a long, cold winter because if someone says they're going to do their best to purge you - it's best to take them at their word. The "good" thing is now so many are leaving their current accommodations and moving South and into the Midwest with their pernicious philosophy that this left/right all be academic in the face of the reality that the Left won because the ordinary conservative was sold a bill of goods. There may be spasms of resistance, but that'll be all. Have you ever given one of your fellow drivers the finger? We all have of course. Why? Kind of a road rage thing. You really want to punch them but you can't or wouldn't dare try if you were out of your car where you could actually try to punch him. It's just your opportunity to be nasty and show how much you hate him.
Now fast forward to all the talking heads saying that Trumpers are delusional or conspiracists for thinking Joe stole the election. So they with a smile or smirk say on TV that of course the election wasn't stolen and there is something wrong with the Trumpers, maybe too much inbreeding or they have been programed into the "cult of Trump". It would take some chutzpah to go on TV and deny the stolen election when it was obvious to all that it was stolen. So why do they do it. It makes them look stupid and mean spirited, kinda like telling them to "eat cake". So why do they fight to get in front of a camera to speak lies smirking as they dig their thumb in your eye?? It's just their opportunity to be nasty and show how much they hate you. It's the left wing elite version of road rage. They don't want you in the same country as them or even on the same planet. They hate you, didn't you get that when they blatantly lied, called you names, asked for your punishment all while smirking for the camera. I don't know if anyone noticed but we had big insurrections last night in Portland and Seattle. The domestic terrorists destroyed property, assaulted police and burned buildings. Where is the national guard? Where are those trigger happy officers to shot unarmed women in the neck? Where is Pelosi to demand punishment to the full extent of the law.
