re number of galaxies: So the new estimate is an order of magnitude or less lower than the old one. Given the rough methods used to make these estimates it probably won't be last revision, in either direction.

The real issue is that they are all so far away that they might as well not be there at all, except as objects for scientific study. Most people have no idea how large and how empty the universe is. The light that we see from the Andromeda galaxy, the closest to us outside the Milky Way, left there when our ancestors were just beginning to learn how to walk on two legs.

But, if FTL travel is not possible then I agree with Hariless Joe that it doesn't matter what's out there. We'll never see it. If FTL travel is possible then the Fermi's Paradox makes sense to me. There must not be anything out there because they would have reached us by now.

If they deny the massive steal and the massive effect this will have on our country for the next few years they are lying never Trumpers who love their hate of him more than they love their country. IMHO middle class Americans have two choices; either rebel as in a full blown civil war OR get the fuck out as in go to Canada or Mexico. Because the American dream is over. The goal of the left now is to tax the shit out of you, take your jobs and give them to your replacements and steal your vote forever while driving the country into a great depression.

I know! You don't believe that. God knows that is exactly what every citizen in every country thought after the communist left stole power and began the purge. Then it devolves into yes! it's really happening but maybe if I obey they will come for me last, and that is followed by, yes! I have to get into the boxcar and go to a "camp" but maybe they won't kill me.

But I also think that Biden will start/stumble into war, most likely with China or their proxies. Then that crisis will justify everything that comes next.

One can argue whether fraud was a substantial part of the Biden win - the absolute refusal of transparency, the complete indifference to voter confidence in the electoral process, and the refusal to abide by electoral legislation and ballot counting rules are important tells to what went on. But one thing is for absolute certain - the changes wrought by Lawfare in the months leading up to the election are what made the playing field ripe for abuse. If you think the election was stolen, then it's incumbent on you to get involved in ensuring that the playing field is both leveled and made transparent before 2022. Voter rolls need to be verified and phony identities scrubbed, absentee ballots need to be relegated back to the absent only, and ballot counting rules and bipartisan witnessing access need to be clear. These are 3 simple issues that can win the day and they are plainly clear and easily defined into a simple coherent message. We all have to get to work making the lives of our public officials uncomfortable (red states with blue cities, especially)!

While there isn't really anything wrong with what you said I think you are missing the point by a million miles. The election was massively stolen and it may have been the biggest conspiracy ever in the history of the earth. Do you think they did that simply so they could have Biden in office for four years??? While you or anyone piddles around trying to make the next election more honest they are going to destroy America. They didn't pull this off just so they could win one for the Gipper. They are full blown Fascist. They intend to run the table, take all the marbles, destroy the opposition. There won't be an honest election in two years. This is like Russia in 1916 and the Kulaks are saying "maybe it won't be that bad". This is the day before kristallnacht in Germany and the Jews are saying maybe the Nazis won't be that bad...
I don't know 'exactly' how this will play out but the signs don't look good. Biden is weak, America looks looks weak. China owns the Democrats and soon they will own America.

I think you are setting yourself up. I agree the election was probably stolen - there is proof of fraud that is rampant, there are bad faith transactions everywhere, but the people responsible for dragging these malfeasance into the light - like the Republican SOS in Georgia - are too busy covering their behinds to bother. Or, like the Establishment Republicans, are too busy getting rid of Trump to bother acting like competent politicians. Witness them, trying to blame Trump for their Senate losses in Georgia, rather than acknowledging that the same cheatin' tactics they condoned in November were firmly in place, without protest, to be used against them in January. They're incompetent, but what's worse, they're so incompetent they think we're stupid instead. You should read the account of how the Democrats, Mark Elias, used Lawfare to change the election rules, making the discovery of phony ballots nearly undiscoverable after the fact. Now we are left with the choice: Become all bitter and twisted, and chronically whine about a stolen election, or actually do something about it. We saw thousands of people and a couple of sharp lawyers get taken in by the QAnon disinformation campaign, which, rather than keeping an angry motivated group focused on simple, fixable problems - like bringing pressure on specific weak politicians to do their ballot counting jobs properly - instead channeled all that productive energy into dead ends. How're Sydney Powell and Lin Wood doing these days? Oh that's right, Dominion Billion Dollar Lawsuits. How about those Capitol Rioters? Oh, that's right. FBI, NSA, 100% MSM Bad Press: Insurrection nonsense etc. etc.

I think the Qanon thing is way over blown. As I understand it Qanon posts very little, it is always cryptic and hasn't posted for months. I think Qanon is more used by the left for disinformation than paid any attention by the right. It's a diversion.

As for Sydney Powell and the Dominion lawsuit; I think she was doing the right thing but the courts and legal system was thwarting her. Now think about that before you climb on the bandwagon to call her crazy. She has proof that the election was stolen in the biggest conspiracy in the world and our courts, our last resort for justice wouldn't even hear her!! THAT is chilling!! What more proof do you need that this conspiracy has infected our entire government? How can you observe what has just happened and say "OK, let's buck up and try again in four years"? As for Dominion, I suspect the fix is in. Dominion got the support from the left and our judges to go ahead and steamroll Sydney and break her publicly and economically. AND like good Republicans we will all sit by and watch and say "OK, let's buck up and try again in four years".

I find conspiracy theorizing has the effect of starving the proponent while providing ample feast for the detractors. Sydney Powell, god bless her, is in deep trouble now because what she said is demonstrably damaging to reputation, and was said without being able to produce any proof. A lawyer should know better. Many lawyers on the side of Conservatism have said so.

Rather than hypothesizing what Dominion is up to in their Dr. Evil world, why not do something that makes a discernible difference? I don't understand it, but believe firmly that it's a Free Country.

Yeah and 50 former intelligence officials have told us Hunter Biden didn't do those things we saw on the videos from his laptop. Lindsey Graham has told us repeatedly that he will thoroughly investigate who is responsible for Russia-gate and bring them to justice. I am so tired of the Rinos on the right stabbing us in the back. The one thing you could depend on during Trump's administration was when some Republican told us Trump was wrong THEN you knew for sure Trump was right and axing someone's sacred cow.

It has been proven that Dominion machines and software was designed to steal election. Why else would states where the big steal happened refuse to have the machines audited?

Why do you think that they are no longer afraid of being stopped? The own the FBI and CIA (or possibly the FBI and CIA own them). They are going to rule over us and if you complain you will be punished. And to this you effectively are saying "do you want to build a snowman?" This isn't a fairy tale or a Disney movie. Right now it looks really bad for our Republic and constitution and I do not see any peaceful way to fix it.
