Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Drugs, Blacks, War, Genocide
I get that the article is about drug incarceration of blacks, but I'd like to point out that the drug epidemic has been wide spread. It is entrenched in the parts of America that have been subject to the worst economic damage, like the Rust Belt. FWIW Joe Rogan has featured Ed Calderon, who claims Mexico is a narco state and that the cartels are partnered with China to distribute Fentanyl. I expect drug problems to escalate with the coming loosening of border controls. At my most suspicious, I find it hard to believe that there are not a lot of public officials at every level, who are complicit in this tragedy, either by looking the other way and/or being on the take. Re: NYT: John Le Carre dead at 89
Sorry, I’m going to need a better source before I believe it. Re: NBC, Cuomo, NYC perps, Antifa (not to mention unfettered riots over the summer, FBI, DOJ, SCOTUS, election fraud, and so many other things)
For the first time in my life, I’m not proud of my country. (No apologies to Michelle Obama) I agree. I can't quite bring myself to not be proud of America but I have lost all faith in our government, the FBI, DOJ and our politicians. I plan to boycott government. I will vote against any politician on either side whose hands aren't clean and does not actively fight these nefarious anti-American groups and politicians. I will vote against all tax increases everything, schools libraries, roads, everything and vote against any politicians who don't get it. Starve them out. I will not patronize any companies who hire H1B's and I will lobby to get colleges out of the business of bringing in foreign students. I will continue to put America first and work against those who put it last. And most importantly I will not go along with the coverup of the greatest election fraud in our history.
Don’t take this personally but have you been paying attention for the last six weeks? We voted and our votes were laughed at by local, state, and even the Supreme Court.
Believe me I know what you are saying. The Supremes were a big disappointment. They were the best and probably the least controversial way to handle the massive vote fraud at this point. The other options are not as easy and not as palatable.
But What the Dems and the Marxist left has done is not "America". It is in fact an attack on America. I hope Americans rise up and scream at our leaders to straighten this mess out. I do not advocate violence but everything short of violence is on the table. I hear you. Don't confuse my cynicism of our government with cynicism of our Constitution. I LOVE our Constitution. People have not been taught about it so too many are ignorant of it. But the Supreme Court is not (although I am left to wonder). They have one job - defend the Constitution by interpreting honestly. They are unwilling to do that. They ignore the plain reading of the Constitution and look the other way at actions that undermine it.
But it's not just the SCOTUS that has left us down. Many of the institutions that have been constructed to uphold our democratic-republic (DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc.) have shown themselves to be decidedly undemocratic by thwarting the policies of our democratically elected president and interfering with his re-election. If our country was founded by geniuses and run by idiots, that would be bad enough but in too many cases, our country is run by crooks of several descriptions and types.

Robert Barnes was quite scornful of the Supreme Court 'hiding under the desk' in their disdain at getting involved in the election contest during the VivaFrei/Barnes Law podcast on Sunday. He noted that Alito's comments were really directed to the Trump team to notify them that no relief will be found in the court.
It's at once understandable that judges find themselves in extremely uncomfortable 'no-win' situation in cases like this one - where any decision will result in uncomfortable scrutiny by the losing side. That's human nature; the problem is, they are judges, put in place to preserve the integrity of the court and judicial system - supposedly above mundane human nature issues, supposedly avatars of Legal Principle. The systems have knuckled under and failed us. The system's leaders have shown themselves to be cowards. Now that this is understood, the course is left to Republicans to find ways to make them fear the Right more than they do the Left. Of course, the same can be said about Establishment Republicans, by Trump supporters. The system's leaders have shown themselves to be cowards.
You got that right! All elected officials take a pledge to "protect and defend the Constitution." I guess it's too much to ask common politicians to do that because they have so much else to do like distribute tax payer money to people who didn't earn it. But it seems to me the SCOTUS has one job - protect and defend the Constitution - and they wiffed. With the exception of Thomas and Alito, they are worthless and gutless. That which you do not defend, you lose.

I'm just coming to terms with how naïve I have been over my voting life. The following is a response to a Canadian on ChicagoBoyz.net.
.............. Canadian: “Still America has killed a great many people for very bad reasons, with apparently no remorse at all. Collateral damage is probably the biggest number. What you did to just Mosul was a monstrous war crime. There are so many of these its hard to keep count. The million or so innocents you most probably killed just over the Iraq war is evil.” me: Thank goodness, Trump exposed the corruption of the Entrenched Bureaucracy and their servile hacks in media. These are the lying liars that brought us the war in the Middle East in tandem with the DNC and the RNC, and they are the lying liars who sabotaged Trump and intentionally fed him false information. Now, they are baaacck in the cat bird seat. Trump was the antidote. ..................... I realize now that Colin Powell was not off his rocker when he insisted that he was lied to and set up in his presentation to the UN. He just blamed the wrong person. Is there any reason to believe that the Entrenched Bureaucracy didn't lie to or mislead Bush just like they admit to doing with Trump. And now for an even more awkward question. Were Barack and Hilary lied to or fed bad information as well re: Syria, Libya? Cui bono?
I guess you can't discount the possibility but then you would have to consider pro-USA motives to the Obama administration.
you might have an awesome blog right here! would you wish to make some invite posts on my weblog?
The events of the past four years bring a lot of things to question. I thought with determination and some more time, Trump and Pence could clean a lot of that out. Now I realize how deeply and widely the anti-democratic elements have infected our governments.
I don't know what to believe guys. Is Dan Bongino a crazy conspiracy theorist? He ties a lot of the China-Biden dealings back to the shady Uranium 1 deal. Did you know that the Chinese tried to buy the Russian Company with the American uranium asset? The timing with Hunter Biden' activities is enough to create questions. It could explain why there was such a bizarre frenzy over Trump's election and why DJT was such a threat. There are other familiar names involved.
I don't know if we should be worried over the Solar Winds story, that seems to have eluded our betters too, or maybe not. If I have to guess (and I do), I’d say all roads lead to China. People like the Bidens are small time crooks and useful idiots (but maybe I’m giving them too much credit). I think it’s the people who will come after Biden when he’s out of the way who will be much more dangerous. They are the true believers of what China wants.
Saddam was killing more of his own people every year than the entire Iraq war killed. The Iraq war was not pretty but it took out a dictator who was actually doing what the faultless Canadian blames us for. Also understand that Saddam did indeed have a massive weapons, nuclear, biological and chemical , program which he intended to use most likely against Israel. If we had not stepped in after Saddam failed to live up to the peace accord he signed Israel would have wiped them off the map. They would have had no other choice. Now Iran is threatening Israel and coincidently with nuclear weapons. Israel will destroy Iran and it will of necessity be messy. THAT is what war is; messy. So it is a mistake to sit in your armchair and Monday morning quarterback over the decisions made in the heat of battle. It is fun of course to denigrate others and throw mud so if that's your thing own it!!!
NYC's Famous 21 Club Shutting Down After 90 Years: Coumo and Covid are killing NYC. I am not bummed. Couldna happened to a nicer city, and NYT ain't "nice".

Most NYC perps arrested on gun charges soon walk free — even when they re-offend: See my fist comment. More Progressive Refusal To Deal With Reality: Climate Change: Climate's been chancing ever since our planet has had an atmosphere. Cuba’s Doomed War on Independent Art: We can certainly HOPE so. Insurrection is beginning to bubble. Crazy Liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, Jill Karofsky, Claims Trump Case Is “Racist” and Is Filed to “Overturn the Election So Your King Can Stay In Power”: Crazy is as Crazy does, and DOES IT EVER!! CNN’s April Ryan to other journalists: Stop exposing leaks on Biden: The HORROR!! The horror..... How NBC News Helped the Biden Campaign Ruin an Innocent Man and Bury the Hunter Laptop Story; It is OBVIOUS that the media is/are in cahoots with the Dems. @IvanPentchoukov
"The allowable election error rate established by the Federal Election Commission guidelines is of 1 in 250,000 ballots (.0008%). We observed an error rate of 68.05%. This demonstrated a significant and fatal error in security and election integrity." {re: analysis of the Antrim County, MI, 2020 elections, which used Dominion machines/software} Just read about the controversy created when Joseph Epstein wrote a piece in the WSJ about Jill Biden's academic credentials. I agree with his opinions and the assessment of her academic credentials. What we need to do is take a look at how many ex-politcal leaders are "employed" by universities after they retire from government. Do you know who gets to sit in on that very small lecture series? Yep, you guessed it those students who are related to local politicos. Real students are not invited. You can find the Epstein story

I can’t speak for after 2008, but at least until then, there were powerful Democrats who understood, at a fundamental level, that Capitalism is the engine of innovation and progress. It may not be the only engine, but it is exponentially more adaptive, efficient, and faster. My definition of capitalism is based on freedom to choose and investment in continuous improvement, such as innovations in organization, materials, distribution, marketing, processes, financing......, specialization. It is not static but adaptive and in flux. Its hallmark used to be a robust middle class. Of course, the Corporatists are trying to capture the power of capitalism for themselves, while decrying it through their "Woke" "tools". They use the power of "Der Staat Uber Alles", to suppress or buy out competition, to suppress entrepreneurship, and to erect entry barriers, consolidating economic power in their own self serving and greedy hands. My guess is that whoever manages to hang onto Capitalism, wins. Look at China, they didn’t get to where they are on their own, they were handed billions of dollars worth of IP, as well as, hard won manufacturing and organization "know how" by our skimming class. And still, they have to spy and get around security measures to acquire cutting edge stuff. And then, of course, there is counterfeiting and sloppy quality control. Not sure if it was this website, but Mike K has mentioned the way that the Chinese pharma makers trick and deceive FDA inspectors. Lest we forget, it was our own skimming class that tilted the competitive playing field in favor of third world supply chains, riddled with coerced labor and child labor. In the 80s and 90s, I think the first corporations, who took manufacturing off shore, were just cutting corners, dodging fair labor practices, getting around environmental regs, looking for cheaper energy, and getting away from having to grease the wheels for any project they wanted to build, plus obviously that was the price of entry into the Chinese market. Now, I don't know how anyone startup can hope to compete with the economies of scale that are inherent in this economy. Just a thought, for the individual just trying to live their life, what's the difference between socialism and Hitech crony capitalism. This is great news. I'm curious to see how the British will handle fishing trawlers who refuse to comply. A shot over the bow? Maybe a twelve-cannon broadside. But England doesn't have any cheap ship-to-ship missiles. Just those crappy million dollar trade-union things. Really, they're too expensive to use. If I were England, I would mount a few Browning .50 caliber machine guns on every single warship. With armor piercing rounds, there's no fishing boat in the world that could stand up to it. So if a boat won't stop, just turn it into Swiss Cheese. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOXvid9UmRg |
