I don't know if it helps to bring this up, but when I read commentary like David Horowitz, I feel like something is missing. If, like me, you are attached to traditional values (aka bourgeoise values: accountability, diligence, restraint, thrift....), embrace math, grammar, and experimental science, and believe in limited government, the Bill of Rights, equality before the law, a sovereign America, the future looks rather bleak. These are still the values of Working America, and the values that make America, America. The forces arrayed against the middle have a lot of clout, but they are not really monolithic. It seems to me that they spring from at least three different sources: the Global Corporatists, the Entrenched Bureaucracy. and the Woke crowd. Media has a role but I don't know how to categorize it. I don't think these entities necessarily have identical motivations, or identical endgames, but they do overlap. It's the same kind of people, with the same kind of backgrounds rotating in an out of the corporations and the Bureaucracy. The Woke crowd is more down with some kind of faux Communism while the Deep state/Corporatist alliance is more about some creepy, paternalistic, dystopia where law and economic economic policy comes from the top down and serves the interests of Global players, ie Multi-nationals. It seems to me that these forces have aligned over the last 12 years and what unifies them is either an antipathy toward or a condescension toward Working America and its traditional values. I know, I know, At the end of the day, it's is a distinction without a difference. The Corporatists and the Bureaucrats do not wish Working People well in any way, at all, and the Woke types use Middle America as a scapegoat. I think you could argue that the Woke types are being used by the Deep state/Corporatist alliance.

The Bureaucracy and the Globalists are maybe flip sides of the same coin. Any thoughts as to how Media and the DNC fit? Are they subservient and to whom, or are they allied, or are they power sources themselves? Or are they just opportunists?+
