Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Is it possible that Rudy and Ms. Powell are not showing the evidence to media, because they choose not to give away their game plan to the media? A media that has, by the way, done everything they can to destroy this president, including lying about him....and all while they protect any Democrat from Obama to Clinton to Sleepy Joe.
The Hinderaker post at PowerLine is pretty damming evidence that they are way out over their skis on this, as much as I hate to say that it's happening. Powell appears to have been just short of brilliant in getting the Flynn travesty turned around.
Scott Johnson looks at what Tucker Carlson has to say. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/11/a-conspiracy-so-immense.php I tend to agree, but Giuliani and Powell have either been brilliant or painted themselves into a corner.
As Turley points out - Dominion could (should?) sue for defamation. That would require providing the evidence. Assuming there is none, or it's sketchy and baseless, then the whole thing collapses and Biden skates in. Assuming they are worried and something DID happen...then skip defamation and let the cards fall where they may. Messy, ugly, and ripe for conspiratorial BS. But it also opens the door to questioning as to whether they ARE guilty of at least (at the very least) negligence and failing to secure their servers. It's an interesting game the Trump team is playing. One has to give them credit for scoping out all the angles. Even if some of these angles are somewhat obtuse. And you can be assured that if Dominion were in any way confident they can show that there is no foul play on their end, they'd have sued the RNC already in every single district where one of their machines was used.
Fact that they haven't shows very clearly that they know full well that their systems were and are rigged to flip districts to Biden at will and they thought they'd get away with it as they have for years. They're probably deep into damage control internally, wiping version control servers and workstations of anything that could show they were deliberately programming their machines to do this. I'm much more willing to bet that Dominion isn't suing because they know the software is randomly buggy and they don't want to have to prove it's accuracy in court.
The assurances I've seen from various authorities run more to implementations of the voting systems being secure as opposed to attestations that they are accurate, which itself is kind of a dog that's not barking. Inaccuracy and administrative errors are a long way from an rigged election, however.

If the dems pull this off, USA won't have to worry about future elections and a free USA will cease to exist. We will bend the knee, submit to our new overlords or be destroyed. The dems could not be more clear about that.
Election Integrity: Per Attrny, Robert Barnes, there are effective bipartisan protocols in place to protect election integrity, and, if memory serves, they have been in place for 20 years. They were arbitrarily bypassed or over ridden in the last 6 months; the pretext was covid. That said it does sound like Florida improved on even the existing ones.
Re: Giuliani/Powell
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I'm not saying you have to show me all your evidence, but your going to need to show me something besides a stack of affidavits and insinuations that something did happen just because something could have happened. Do I think there's something squirrely? Yes - I don't see a group of people that spent time and money fabricating a foreign collusion narrative deciding to just give Trump another 4 years if he could win it. Suspicions aren't evidence and I hate to watch Giuliani/Wood/Powell torch the credibility they've built over decades. How they Hate Us - American Greatness
QUOTE: The basic message is that they’re motivated by altruistic concern for the greater part of the community, especially those historically victimized by racism and other prejudice. Their noble motives are augmented by technocratic credentials and expertise. The only real victims of their system are bad people who deserve their lot. For the rest of us, including those not quite on board, we’re treated with the same charity one reserves for a toddler who won’t eat his vegetables. Your desires and wants aren’t compelling concerns, even though our regime is supposed to be based on the “consent of the governed.” They’re obstacles to be overcome. In the elite’s self-conception, they’re altruists and capable experts fighting against obscurantism, evangelizing the rest of us with “evidence-based” solutions. . . . The center-Left managerial elite don’t imagine themselves to be the party of hate. They believe themselves to be the party of progress, human rights, equality, and science. Even “love.” But their frequently expressed indifference to the fate of their fellow citizens echoes the hate-as-indifference so chillingly portrayed in science fiction dystopia. https://amgreatness.com/2020/11/19/how-they-hate-us/ Don't forget they want to rewrite the social contract on their own terms, and you're not to have any input at all.
Working America is expected to give up on the American dream, our rights, our heritage, in exchange for nothing. The cocooned and privileged are the beneficiaries, the rest of us, not so much.
What they propose for middle America seems dystopian and creepy, maybe even a step backwards. It's not even Socialism – the working class, public ownership of the means of production, even decreasing income inequality – this doesn’t look like the focus of today’s left. Whatever the Left’s agenda is, it is more global corporatist, or post-socialism than socialism. It seems like it’s more about a privileged class enjoying its privileges and claiming power in the name of its own idea of the common good, more than anything else. It is characterized by corporate Americas instinctive hostility to privacy, individual rights, freedom of expression, etc, and it demands absolute conformity to the what ever is the crankpot scheme, du jour. These people do not wish Working America, well, at all, in any way, any more than their Chinese mentors do. Why John Saxon... In high school i could do math but not because I understood but by following rules. Later in junior college a AA high school teacher taught a night algebra class and when some of us didn't understand basic concepts he began to explain them to us. As a light came on in my head I was furious, why wasn't this taught to me instead of learning by rote.
There are so many videos on the net that explain easy to understand basic concepts of math or science that could help kids make sense what they are trying to learn it is just wrong to not adapt these to education. Who knows they might even enjoy learning. In grade school my father was taught about the two common temperature scales, C and F. Realizing that both were linear, he knew they must cross somewhere, so he quickly figured out the intersection was at minus 40. While the teacher was leading them through the little algebraic formula that converts one to the other, my father suggested minus 40. Of course the conversion yielded minus 40. The teacher got mad and kept working it over and over. This was the kind of joke my dad never got tired of.
It's fun stuff if you see how things fit together, boring rote work if you don't. Saxon looked good, but didn't go over well with our kids. Your mileage my vary.
Same here. Saxon was too boring and repetitive so we went to Singapore with some parent written extensions, then found Singapore was lacking in practice so added back in a bit of the Saxon. My suggestion for up to 6th grade or so is to use Singapore and a lot of discussion and "playing with the numbers and ideas" for the understanding and Saxon for the tedious but necessary rote practice.
South Australia Police: ‘You Cannot Leave the House to Walk the Dog or to Exercise’: South Australia goes Nazi.
Senators release new evidence tying Hunter Biden business to communist China, Russian energy: Why am I not surprised... Harvard students want Trump admin officials barred from campus as part of public ‘system of accountability.’ Clearly, Harvardians are idiots. Yalies, too, I expect. "South Australia Police: 'You Cannot Leave the House to Walk the Dog or to Exercise': SouthAustralia goes Nazi"
I don't think so. It would not take too much civil disobedience for this to break down rather quickly; particularly if the government began to lose public confidence. The size of Australian police forces - as in most democracies - is predicated on societal consent for the rule of law. That is to say, it is an estimate of the minimum cost-effective police presence necessary in an already law-abiding, free society. The state of South Australia has a population of about 1.7 million and the police force only numbers 5,000; they have no other police i.e., city police, so the state force handles both urban and rural areas. That's at best less than one constable ("beat cop") for every 340 residents, let's say one for every 170 adults. Probably there are even fewer actual constables than that, given the modern penchant for bureaucracy and specialty capabilities in police forces. I should have added that it might work in the short term until people's patience is worn down.
The longer term result of such action - if too draconian for too long without palpable results - might well be that the party in power in South Australia (the Liberals) ends up turfed from office. I find that Australia is a very interesting Petri dish to compare American socio-political principles to. So many similarities: Both are ex-British colonies originally populated by English society's rebels & rejects. Both have large geographical variation and an element, still, of wildness and wilderness. Both claim proud, rugged-individualistic heritage.
I was profoundly surprised when Australia enacted its sweeping gun laws. After all, there are just as many lethal critters and proportionally more wild areas than the US where a gun could save your life. And just look at the trade they made. "Safety and Security" - what a boon, eh? Hard to imagine acceptance of something like this; I guess they've been tending too many sheep, or maybe too accustomed to being in a penal colony. Don't think, Obey. Now they put laws in place like this one, for "COVID", knowing that they can't be enforced due to limitations of the number of people, the number of cops, the number of square miles. Nobody objects to the police hoarding their options, I guess. I would be, hard. Being set up for selective prosecution when some petty official feels like it, is not a good way to live. Too bad the officials don't have gun owners to worry about and keep them honest - and respectful. "I guess they've been tending too many sheep, or maybe too accustomed to being in a penal colony."
South Australia was never a penal colony; it began as a planned British colony rather than a convict settlement. Another difference is that Australia is relatively homogenous in terms of race: its 18 million people are overwhelmingly white Europeans by origin: around 88 percent, with indigenous peoples at about three percent and the rest Asian (Indian, Chinese and Vietnamese).

I'm not an expert but - why would Tucker Carlson feel especially placed to be the one to conduct an examination of the facts? Who appointed him? His broadcast came off as a smarmy, more-in-sorrow-than-anger cheap shot. The process will play out. Tell us more about the process, Tucker, since you're in the information biz.
And didn't the information biz appoint itself as the chief arbiter of who won the election? Weren't there a few little problems about early calls of states while people were still voting? Yes, there were. Trump has a hard case to prove and I doubt he'll be able to produce it. The problem isn't the evidence - we won't be finding the Candle Stick with Colonel Mustard's fingerprints in the Library. Election fraud has evidence that most lay-people don't interpret as evidence. The press is trying very hard to try the case in the court of Public Opinion, where they can be the biased judge. If you want to do something useful, start making the lives of your elected officials miserable by reminding them that we are on to their game. Demand a new, clean vote. Demand action on enforcement of existing voting laws. Demand! You don't hear much dissenting public opinion right now, except from the usual Talking Heads. Do you wonder why? Could it be because more people than you think voted for Trump? I want to see Powell’s evidence too but I have no trouble believing her assertions. If they end up being vapid, her career is over. I doubt very much she would do that.
Just taking one of them, that the software weights votes (a vote for one candidate can, for example, count 1.5 votes and a vote for another only counts 0.75 votes) seems pretty obvious. The feeds to the NYT that were copied an analyzed, themselves showing problems, had vote counts as floating point values thus accommodating fractions of a vote. Integer types make more sense when you are counting whole things. But then, they weren’t REALLY counting. "Show me the evidence"
You are right! I totally agree. However it completely ignores the simple fact that the Dems and some republicans along with the MSM have been hiding evidence and denying evidence for the last 4 years. I think what we are seeing is more of the same. AND I doubt that when you and others see the evidence you will believe it. I could link to a video by a poll watcher of a cart full of ballots (about 160,000 of them) being pulled into the vote counting center at 4 AM and you would still say "show me the evidence". I could show you that 100% of these ballots only voted for Biden and no one else and you wouldn't believe that proves anything. I could show you the video of Democrat officials barring poll watchers which is against the law. I can show the video of poll workers putting up cardboard on the window so that the poll watchers couldn't watch the vote count and you wouldn't believe it. SO I don't think it will matter to most people when the evidence comes out that Trump actually won the vote in a landslide and that the Dems were forced to extraordinary measures to swing the count to Biden. I think we have seen the stealing of not just the vote but the country and the only thing that will get our country back is to go to war and shoot everyone involved in the steal. People don’t want to believe that our country has become a corrupt, no better than a communist banana republic. I think you’re right, even with all the evidence on display, people will still refuse to budge; the truth is just too horrific. And that would mean we would actually have to do something about it.
How many of us would pledge our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor, to restore the republic? We are to comfortable in our present lives, to want to risk any of our wealth or comfort. We’ll continue to tell ourselves that these people can not possibly be this corrupt. Besides, life ain’t that bad: We worship at the altar of comfort. But slowly the ratchet of totalitarianism strangles every one of your freedoms. One day you will awake, and you will have nothing. I support Ms. Powell: QUOTE: "This is stunning, heartbreaking, Infuriating and the most unpatriotic acts I can even imagine for people in this country to have participated in, in any way, shape or form, and I want the American public to know right now that we will not be intimidated. American patriots are fed up with the corruption from the local level to the highest level of our government, and we are going to take this country back," she said. "We are not going to be intimidated. We are not going to back down. We are going to clean this mess up now. President Trump won by a landslide. We are going to prove it, and we are going to reclaim the United States of America for the people who vote for freedom." From Rush yesterday:
QUOTE: Now, stop and think again. The voting machines used to count the vote in American states were made in Venezuela. The software was written in Venezuela by a dictator who asked that the software be created so that he could cheat and never lose. That’s what the Democrats bought. The funniest thing I heard all day today, though, the number of legitimate votes for Donald Trump were so many that they overwhelmed the software’s ability to keep up with it and cheat. Trump had so many votes — that’s why they keep saying that he won in a landslide, 700,000, in some cases 800,000-vote lead in Pennsylvania, and they had to stop counting. Who does that? Who stops the count? They had to stop the counting so that their machines could catch up and keep up. And they couldn’t. So what they ended up doing, they’ve got an affidavit from a witness who said that a couple of trucks — this is in Michigan — showed up at a counting center with a bunch of ballots, tens of thousands of ballots with only one name on them: Joe Biden. No other candidates down the ballot were even on the ballot. Just the name “Joe Biden” for president. They were flooded into the system and they were counted. https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/11/19/the-rush-wave-overwhelmed-the-cheating-algorithm/ Top Pathologist Claims COVID-19 Is "The Greatest Hoax Ever Perpetrated On An Unsuspecting Public"
We all know that covid doesn't exist, it's just the sniffles and a commie plot. I read that on the internet school of medicine. QUOTE: I read that on the internet school of medicine. Unpossible - the internet school of medicine's busy pulling a train on your mother. BD - note that this is the person who keeps changing his handle but has had to be deleted for filth consistently over at my site for the last few years.
We are in that period of the big steal where the MSM and talking heads job is to keep beating that drum that the elections had no fraud OR yes there was fraud but not enough to swing any election OR well yes there 'might' have been massive fraud but it is impossible to prove now so 'can't we all just get along"?
The job of the courts and the lawyers on the other side is to delay, judge shop for Obama appointed judges and did I mention delay? The job of the rank and file Democrats is to threaten any Republican who speaks up, beat up any Republican found alone on the street at night and if you disagree call you a racist. The job of the useful idiot is to continue to ignore the evidence while simultaneously shouting "show me the evidence". Saxon Math: For additional support there is Richard Feynman, who is not 100% on the same page as Saxon, but as frustrated with education bureaucrats as he was. The site won't let me link, but Richard Feynman math textbooks will get you there if you put a duck on it.
I have no idea if, or how, the Dems pulled off an election heist, or who to believe regarding the election returns. It looks like Trump's base stood by him and increased by 11M , no small thing. Granted that Trump is a flash point but so was Hillary in 2016. The following numbers are rounded up. I have a hard time believing that the voter pool increased by 20 M between 2016 and 2020, form 135M to 155M. I have a hard tome believing that Biden exceeded Hillary by almost 14M (Hil 2016- 66M)and Barack Obama by 10M (Obama 69.5M in 2008).
All that being said, to prevail the Dems had to manufacture at at the very least, 6+ million votes which would seem daunting. Here is the problem I had with the rudy giuliani press conference. It was long in terms of time, very long. It was short in terms of actual information given to the viewers. Rudy is unhealthy and overweight and these facts contribute to his very poor communication skills. Yes he did get some of his points across but it was painful to watch and therefore little of what he said registered. Instead I found myself wishing he would see a doctor and get some advice on his obvious health issues and hoping he didn't collapse right there in front of us all.
Sydney Powell was a much better communicator BUT stuck to the inexplicable script of promising evidence but not delivering evidence. The pretty young blonde attorney mostly did a good job of communicating, strayed a few times to chide reporters which didn't offer the viewers much except a laugh. What they should have done with this extraordinary opportunity (90 minutes on national TV with everyone watching!!) is laid out their case one state (of the contested states) at a time. Spelled it out the facts are extraordinary so spell them out for the American people. This was their best and maybe last opportunity to make their case in public and they blew it. Make no mistake, I believe that they have a case, I believe that Trump actually did win the votes while Biden cheated massively. But after this press conference we are exactly no closer to knowing this or proving this. Here is the bottom line. I think that all of the lawyers, all of the politicians know this election was stolen and also know that the Dems will get away with it. So the effort is no longer to right this great wrong but rather to position themselves for the next four years. These lawyers are millionaires and will each probably make more than a million off this one effort. Win or lose they are big winners. The Republicans who won seats in congress and those who retained their seats will still each make a million or so in the next four years by 'compromising' with the right people or 'selling' their vote to lobbyists etc. All legal (kinda). In fact the Republicans in congress all may do better financially if Democrats hold power so what the hell do they care about a stolen election. The ONLY losers in all of this is the 74 million who voted for Trump. They will get more incremental far left government, lose freedoms and rights and may never again in their lifetime have any hope of ever seeing an honest election. And so it begins:
New York's attorney general probes Trump consulting payments that reduced his taxes. https://www.sfgate.com/news/article/NY-probes-Trump-consulting-payments-that-reduced-15741432.php This is what the next four years will look like. Both retribution for Trump and his supporters AND cover for Biden/Harris so they can do their dirty deeds without much public scrutiny. There will be an endless "lawfare" against Trump, his family, his cabinet and appointees. Pay attention you Republicans in office or thinking of running for office, this could be you if you don't cooperate!! I can see that even here the long knives have come out. Duh, "Show me"? After four years of 24/7 bullshit , we're suddenly aggressive about getting to the truth and can't wait? Let the thing run its course. You don't know what is coming, and neither do I.
So Australia reversed their lockdown because it was based on 1 liar. (Of course the People might still float if thrown in Ponds without an appropriate Mask /s )
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/live/2020/nov/20/australia-allegations-war-crimes-vaccine-south-australia-covid-19-victoria-nsw-qld-live-news Our (South Australia) lockdown only lasted 3 days. A relief. As for the rules, you could still walk to the shops. If you don't have a car and the supermarket is 500m away - you walk. And you walk the dog. That was all clarified the next day. A lot of people suddenly walking to the shops - with their dogs haha! You weren't meant to be out with kids but you could take kids to a babysitter while you went to the shops - so people walked their kids to friends nearby to be "babysat". Otherwise it wasn't too bad. Australians have never had tyrannical leaders and have always voted fairly sensibly. This is all quite tenuous but the South Australian people banded together and did "the right thing". Today we are all back at work and school and getting back on with our lives. Until the next outbreak...
