Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

"Wokefishing" seems to work even better than dinner and a copious amount of wine, doesn't it?
Why would any white suburban woman want to be attacked for being a Trump supporter. If you happen to be living in a more left Dem. suburban area you would be verbally attacked and socially shunned. The clicks of woke women are awful. Our son claims his house would be picketed and vandalized if he put out a Trump sign or flag. It is the nature of the left/Dems.
Pollster: It's Curious How Biden Underperformed Hillary Clinton In Every City...Except These Four.

San Francisco 2016 80% turnout 6% for Trump; same city 2020 85% turnout 12% for Trump. The difference is 17,000 for Trump. Bayview area is closest to cities named; 74% turn out with some particular precincts having turn out in the mid 50s. Without a local government bail out in the works; some people did some things. If its ok to steal shoes, its ok to steal an election. Its easy, expand the number of registered voters and then after the attributable ballots are in, just fill in the blanks in the time allotted. Motive and means. Can you imagine that smoke filled room; "Sorry Lizzie they won't steal for you" "Sorry Bernie with your ethnicity, they..." Don’t Be a Sucker, High Trust Elections Are Over -
QUOTE: . . . . it seems strange that New York and Texas’ Rio Grande valley went significantly more for Trump than did Pennsylvania, a state he surprisingly won in 2016. Elections Don’t Matter When They Oppose the Ruling Class The election did remind us that we have a hostile, dishonest ruling class in this country. Consider what has happened in the last few months. Following a failed impeachment, the economy itself was murdered. Ostensibly, this was a product of science-based efforts to fight a virus, but it had the added and undeniable effect of destroying what was a very successful economic boom, which was considered impossible when Trump took office. While barbers and waitresses and hotel desk clerks lost their jobs, the GS-12s, lobbyists, Wall Street bankers, and media figures found ways to work from home. Then, after months of lockdowns and other indignities, science was said to demand forgiveness of mass gatherings in the name of hating cops as they became widespread. Conservative political rallies, on the other hand, were bad things—“super-spreader” events, as they were called—while violent race riots were now good. In advance of the election, polls predicted Biden had double-digit leads in states he ultimately lost, or barely—at least for now—appears to have won. This was a massive voter suppression effort in plain sight. Finally, the customs of the election itself, which is supposed to be the defining act of a democratic self-government, were radically changed. When previously the vast majority of votes could be counted on election day, instead the process was deliberately extended through the massive, unprecedented use of mail-in ballots. . . . . In the name of “democracy,” the election of President Trump has been thwarted from the beginning. Democracy in this usage doesn’t mean counting up votes and picking the winner, but commitment to progressivism and an activist foreign policy, whether it receives a popular mandate or not. This is the same playbook through which foreign leaders are deposed and harassed, even when they are elected. So now, at home, we are being told that recounts and enforcing the rules themselves is some kind of affront to democracy. The people who spied on the president, encouraged irregular voting procedures to oust him, and declared his use of ordinary executive power somehow worthy of impeachment do not deserve either deference or the benefit of the doubt. Such principles of comity and fair play make sense only when they are observed reciprocally and consistently. Pretending we live in a high-trust, low-corruption country (when the truth is it is neither of these things) doesn’t make you a model of good behavior or a steward of the good of the nation . . . it makes you a sucker. https://amgreatness.com/2020/11/12/dont-be-a-sucker-high-trust-elections-are-ove The ‘Shy Trump Voter’ Is A Suburban Woman: They are wise.
MSNBC’s exodus to work for Joe Biden shows it’s been shilling for him all along: Could there be ANY doubt??????? That’s rich’: Joy Reid and Adam Schiff warn of GOP ‘tearing down our democracy’ if they investigate the incoming POTUS’ admin: Lessee here, who started this.... THEY did. Pot/Kettle, doncha know. ‘Just Had Heartfelt Phone Call’: Geraldo Rivera Gives Update After Speaking Privately With President Donald Trump. NO, DON'T give up, A thought experiment for Maggie's Farm:
Suppose that the stories of pre-programmed Dominion voting machine switching votes are true. Suppose that exit polls and the expected turnout sentiment for Trump were accurate. Suppose that reports of irregularities at the ballot counts are true, that the ballot dumps of 10's even 100's of thousands of single-vote ballots for Joe were phony. Suppose all of the reported red flags really do indicate the election was stolen from Trump voters, even in Red districts (where there are reports that votes were switched to surreptitiously add to Biden's overall total). Experiment: What if the vote were re-cast using Blockchain technology to guarantee accuracy of voter submission? What if the technology could be harnessed to return accurate results, by polling district, together with a certificate of verification that the vote was cast by a registered voter? Who's to stop an informal canvass outside of Federal/State/City/District authority? Would you pay $5 to vote again under this venture, if you were assured an accurate and true result? What would happen if the results were profoundly different? "Experiment" doesn't mean what you think it means.
That's not much of an experiment because there's no kind of falsifiability people invested in Konspiracies would accept. Now that the election has been stolen and even though it was necessary to steal it in multiple states and in obvious ways, the job of the MSM and talking heads will now be for the next two months to convince you that it didn't happen. Sure, there were a few folks who did a few things but nothing organized and nothing on a large enough scale to actually steal the election. The courts and liberal judges will work overtime to hide and obfuscate, the talking head will all agree that those ballots that arrived in the middle of the night were really pizza deliveries. The laws that the various secretaries of state broke or ignored didn't really mean what you thought they meant. By January 20, 2021 it will be over. You will not be allowed to say, write, video or debate the stolen election and there will be consequences if you do not obey. Wikipedia will change the meaning of MAGA to mean white supremacy and define white supremacists as those who still believe the crazy conspiracy theory that the election was stolen. AND there will be consequences if you do not fall in line, after all who wants a white supremacist, fascist working for them. Oh! By the way, the IRS will investigate all of the right wing groups and you will all be identified and your tax deductible contributions will be taxed. I would advise scrubbing your social media sites and apologizing publicly to your betters. Or there will be consequences...
Why wasn't Trump prepared for the fraud? Like a lot of incumbents he wasn't prepared for the first debate and that hurt him. Methinks he should have E been better prepared for fraud in the battleground states. Maybe he didn't see AZ ( although McSally has shown she's only qualified to serve as a Las Vegas cooler) coming. Or Georgia. But PA, MI, Wi, Nv all too important to his chances not to be ready on November 4. And no one takes Rudy Giuliani seriously anymore, Borat or no Borat. He's not the messenger for this fight.
I believe you are incorrect on both counts. The debates were fixed with the express intent of making Trump look bad. Daniel Webster himself couldn't have risen above that slanted playing field. In terms of facts and ability to speak cogently he won the first and second debate.
As for the elections there is no power for the federal government or the president to do anything in the election process until it is over. It is 100% up to the states and within the states the counties and cities. If the state, county or city is corrupt there is no recourse to the federal government except to challenge the result. So in fact within his legal ability to do anything at all he did and is. The states have specifically created systems that allow them to manipulate elections. JFK was elected by a rigged state(s) election fraud and in fact the reason Johnson was picked as his VP was because Johnson was the king of rigged election. The Democrats have stolen every close election for the last 60-70 years and probably longer. This is what they do and the only thing that they are good at. If there is a term that I despise more than 'social distancing', it has to be 'our democracy'! It means nothing more than permanent elites running the show. The founders never intended America to be a democracy.
And it isn't.
I asked multiple people if America was a Democracy and most of them answered "Yes" not realizing that Article IV, Section IV says it's a Republican form of Government. I ran out of milk this morning. Gotta have milk with my oatmeal, right! So I wen to the store to buy a half gallon of milk. The carton had those pictures on it of missing and exploited children. When I got to the register I noticed mine had a picture of John Durham on it with a plea for anyone who has seen him to please call Bill Barr. What a sad story. I just feel so bad that he will probably not be found or if he is it will be too late...
It seems likely that Biden will be our next president, at least until he is declared unfit and his vice takes over. He has said that on day one he will reverse Trump's tax cut. He and his potential cabinet has said that we will also get a 4-6 week lockdown. Both of these things are economy killers. Is it possible/likely that we are looking into the economic abyss? I doubt once a slide into a great recession begins that it can simply be stopped or reversed. Even if it could be I doubt that Biden and his band of thief's (hereinafter known as his cabinet) would understand how to stop it or make it better. In fact, I have no doubt that they would make it worse even while trying to make it better. I'm not saying that the next great depression begins on Jan 21. What I'm saying is it looks bad, a recession is due and all of the government promises of action seem to help a recession happen. I don't think it is too early to prepare for what's coming.
I doubt Biden will last until April. Then we will get the giggling, homely, socialist Harris for the next 12 years.
Unfortunately, for America, Harris and the cabinet being assembled, are far worse than socialist. I see this morning that Karen (yeah, Karen) Bass, democrat rep. from California, is being considered for HUD secretary. Her greatest heroes are all communist.
Quote: Bass traveled to Cuba in 1973 with an organization called the Venceremos Brigade, a joint venture between the Castro regime and left-wing U.S. groups that organized trips for Americans to the country. If you remember, Obama had plans to turn every urban neighborhood into high crime, deteriorating slums, using HUD and a program called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing. Both of our children are already having low income housing plans put in their neighborhoods. No input from the community. Plans going forward from the Obama years and being assured Biden would make it so everywhere. So much for property values and safety of your children plus overcrowded schools, not to mention more violence in the schools. As the saying goes, you can ake them out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of them no matter what ethnic group you are discussing.
Lotsa black pills in the comments - all justified, but I kinda think he'll pull it out - I'm going to predict he has a 95% chance of re-election.
Re: Joy Reid and Adam Schiff
All I've got to say about that is that there's a reason God invented piano wire. Law Firm's Withdrawal Reflects Chilling Reality
QUOTE: “Leftist mobs descended upon some of the lawyers representing the President’s campaign and they buckled,” said Tim Murtaugh, communications director for the campaign. “If the target were anyone but Donald Trump, the media would be screaming about injustice and the fundamental right to legal representation. The President’s team is undeterred and will move forward with rock-solid attorneys to ensure free and fair elections for all Americans.” Porter Wright is a large law firm with offices in eight cities across the country. But apparently it lacked the courage to stand up against the Twitter mob. The “Lincoln Project” doxxed the two Porter Wright lawyers who signed the Pennsylvania complaint, tweeting their pictures, addresses and telephone numbers, and encouraging leftists to harass them. Reportedly there also were employees at the law firm who objected to representing President Trump. Porter Wright’s abandonment of its client is shameful conduct for which I suspect it will receive little but praise. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/11/law-firms-withdrawal-reflects-chilling-reality.php Terror has been working for the Democrats.
Expect more of it. Exactly. If you can accept the election of a known self-dealing ward-heeler with a running mate that's a known, vengeful round-heeler, whose campaign message is higher taxes, immediate COVID shutdown, everyone stuck at home while borders are thrown open - if those messages can win an election rife with irregularities, anything is possible and more of the same targeted oppression is highly probable.
Exchange of indoor air is the key issue for CoVid spread. Focus on anything else has made people weary and been counterproductive.
Attendees of the MAGA march in DC were targeted for beatings by BLM/Antifa/Nazis. They looked for anyone who was walking back to their hotel alone and viciously attacked them. The police stood by and watched and in at least one case refused to allow two MAGA marchers to walk through the police line to their hotel and turned them back into the BLM crowd. THIS by the way is exactly what the police did in charlottesville where the BLM and ANTIFA beat the other group until someone drove their car into them trying to escape. No white supremacists in sight. Lots of black supremacists though.
Wokefishing = college. Can't overdo it though. Even straight leftwing women want a man, not a simp.
