Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Re: ... As Obama-Era Gridlock Returns To Washington
... and we resume striving for mediocrity ... again ... Don't discount the resentment of those, who having escaped the tyranny of received wisdom, tasted prosperity and liked it, only to be sold out [again] by those who kept telling them how much they truly care. It didn't take a magic wand, 2% was not the unattainable ideal rate of growth, 4% was not the hard deck of unemployment (but we really can't do better than 6%) after all. The most convincing evidence of election fraud is the idea that the only demographic Donald Trump didn't do better with was the very group his opponents openly declared war on as early as '06. Seriously? They can't even do a competent job of cheating! These are interesting times, indeed. I suspect "Going Galt" will be back in style. And I saw one financial report indicating that capital is again already fleeing the U.S. for foreign safe havens. Trump spent his first couple of years trying to convince U.S. companies to come back and bring their money with them.
The big winner of the election: China. If the steal is allowed to be successful we may as well start learning to speak Mandarin because we will have a Chinese Communist Party government.
Winners: China, Russia, and Iran.
Losers: Middle, Working America. They were willing to shred the economy to get at Trump, to secure their self dealing, self aggrandizement at the global (Chinese) trough. In fact, there was no bridge too far. Don't ever forgt that their constituents were not as vulnerable to the lockdowns. Forgot to include the drug cartels who work hand in hand with the Chinese to distribute fentanyl among the winners.
'The Left just got crushed'. Isn't that precious. The Presidency has been stolen from someone with the highest pre-election approval rating ever, and with 56% of the country saying it's better off than 4 years ago (another record), but we'll take this insipid consolation prize, because 'Trump'.
And now the apologists start in, 'Look at these new shiny House seats, and only one Senate loss! Hallelujah! Gridlock!' Where are the demographics? I want to see where Biden got his votes from, and I really want to see ballots audited in key areas. I really want to see comparisons to the voting tallies of 2016, by county - and turnout comparisons, too. This will tell an interesting tale, I think. Boss Tweed seems to still be in control. Or, maybe it's his Grandson.
According to the battleground state ballots, Boss Tweed is alive and well and has voted for Joe.
re The Left Just Got Crushed
QUOTE: Arrogant talk of demographic inevitabilities and transformative changes to lock Republicans out of power in the name of “democracy” has the effect of inspiring that opposition to unite against them, rendering political success less assured and more tenuous. This is just sugar coating a dog turd. Passionate opposition is pretty much useless if the vote is rigged. See Venezuela for how that works. These articles saying we had the presidency stolen from us but we really won type stories really annoy me. No, no, and more no. If Biden's stolen win is allowed to stand, we lost, and no spin can change that. Dem's can save a lot of money in future. Just name their candidate, and rig the vote. No campaign needed. Why spend the money campaigning when you control the outcome of the vote? Conservatives are way too passive about this. Shrugging it off that Biden one, even if it was by "crook"? Not a good stance.
Yep, conventional conservatives, and especially boomercons, are worse than useless. When it's time to fight, they reliably check their 401k balance, decide things aren't too bad, turn on the TV throw some steaks on the grill, and tell themselves that we'll really get them next election. Pathetic losers who collectively deserve their coming enslavement.
We get it. You hate "boomers". Not sure why you would hate an entire generation. Possibly, you were cornholed by one as a kid? You have my condolences.
Even If Biden Wins, President Trump's Agenda Will Endure As Obama-Era Gridlock Returns To Washington: I sure HOPE so.
Yes, the election was all about Trump: And Jonah. a Never-Trumper, he HATES Trump. Portland is now Leftist City, not that it hasn't been for some time... NYC Mayor: No, I don’t have a plan to fix things. Will there be a citizen uprising?? Inquiring minds would like to know. I gave up on Drudge a few years back. Fox, I never watched, and never will. They went "to the DARK side." QUOTE: Slow news day. Seems to me that Biden won the Pres. election, whether by hook or crook we'll never know because of all the mail-in nonsense. Hardball politics is never nice. Hardball politics is even less nice when both sides engage in it. Watching him for the past 4 years or so, I don't think Trump's going to roll over; ditto for his followers. And given that his foes haven't in any way felt compelled to obey laws, observe decorum, etc., what makes you think that, when push comes to shove (which is where we are: arbitrary system of justice, arbitrary COVID-19 lockdowns, an excellent economy queered for political advantage, etc.), that Trump and those he represents are just going to sit back and take it, that their response to ruthless, corrupt savagery will be to dutifully continue playing by the rules? Fat chance. The next several months will be very interesting. Maybe, but unless they are hit in the pocket book, I don't see much that can restrain globalist (or Chinese) hegemony. I expect I must seem like a one issue voter but I see it as the driver for gutting Middle and Working America. Beyond Trump and a handfull of Republicans, I don't see any leadership. Dan Bongino reluctantly called out for boycotts yesterday. Has that ever worked? I already try to support local business. Ideas, anyone?
It will come, but it will only happen when things get especially grim. And I mean Kansas/Nebraska circa 1850 grim.
In some ways, the scales has fallen from a lot of eyes, and as more and more average people find their social media is being restricted that may be just the catalyst. And don't say that people can just go to another platform. There aren't any. They're all converged. Even those who say they aren't (Parler) want too much personal information to make signing up an intrusion. Gab's founder has endured being thrown off PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard, and has had his personal banking affairs thrown to the winds by institutions who have refused to do business with him. His parents' gas main at their house was vandalized on election night in the hope of blowing it to smithereens. That's where it leads before things change. And then it will be too late to walk it back. Re:The left just got crushed
[quote) And therein lies a paradox that should be obvious but apparently isn’t: Democrats live in a country with a large, passionate opposition. Arrogant talk of demographic inevitabilities and transformative changes to lock Republicans out of power in the name of “democracy” has the effect of inspiring that opposition to unite against them, rendering political success less assured and more tenuous.[/quote] I think he makes good but insignificant points. Unless something happens and there are severe consequences for those who are taking part in the obvious fraud, we are watching how little passion and votes matter. Recent history of (in)action at the DOJ and FBI is not comforting. Re: energized Democratic base
Jason Whitlock was on Tucker last night and he made the interesting point that this election was about love and hate. Trump was and is loved by his supporters while Biden’s supporters hate Trump. After bleating “love trumps hate” for four years, the left is now trying mightily to show that hate trumps love. I am 77 YO and my entire life the Democrats have been stealing elections. Our system allows it by intent of the state legislators and if it didn't allow and facilitate stealing elections the Democrats would actually have to try to appeal to the voters. I do not think at this point that anything Trump does will get him the win it is too muddled and to expertly stolen. BUT it would do my heart good to see actual investigations with jail time for everyone involved.
There isn't anyone in the country, that has been paying attention, that does not know that elections were stolen and ballots were created and stuffed into the system. In some states it was so egregious that the only legitimate solution would be to redo the election or strike them from the final electoral count. In PA elected and non-elected officials have committed crimes and should go to jail. Numerous counties and cities have actually had more ballots cast than were printed; more ballots cast than there are voters. Each of these counties and cities should be required to hold a second election or have their entire vote count struck from the total. Someone knows who printed the extra 200,000 ballots. If the contracted printing company didn't do it than some other print shop did. Offer $20,000 for that info and see who comes out of the woodwork to spill their guts. Someone in the official process has observed suspicious things. You can't easily bring 200,000 ballots onto the floor without someone noticing. Again offer a reward to anyone who can bring this information forward and investigate, indict and prosecute. Once you get some of the lower level perps offer them a reduced sentence if they implicate up the chain. Put a bulldog prosecutor in charge and get some of the bigger fish. I'm not quite as old but you're right about the theft. The distinction now, which should be alarming everyone, is that the media, the Fourth Estate, now has the technological leverage to silence dissent, and they are doing it, in spades. People are being silenced and de-platformed, their revenue streams squelched, because of their political views. And it's all in service to the Left. The Fourth Estate has become the Fifth Column.
Here is the observations of a poll watcher:
https://teamcandaceowens.co/watch-ballot-count-watcher-describes-at-least-130000-ballots-all-for-biden-arriving-in-three-vehicles-in-detroit-in-dead-of-night/ The reward idea is a good one. Trump's team should go on national TV and offer any whistle blower $20K and anonymity for proof of election fraud to include the who and how it was done. Just a flat nation wide offer and shake the trees and see what falls to ground. It is literally impossible for this level of voter fraud to have take place without it being observed.
That's all fine and dandy, but we could find an actual smoking gun detailing how all the fraud went down and not a thing will be done about it.
Know why? Because half the country SUPPORTS it. James O'Keefe Has a Second Whistleblower Who Says Late Ballots Were Being Backdated So That They Could Be (Illegally) Counted as Votes
—Ace By the way: People are talking about invalidating the votes from the four Democrat Machine Cities that are forever "discovering" ballots once they know the statewide margin they have to overcome. THIS SEEMS DOABLE I have an alternate suggestion: Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, and any other states with known corrupt cities, should immediately move to apportion electoral votes separately from the rest of the state. Philadelphia seems to be made up of two congressional district, district 2 and 3. Good. Let district 2 and 3 vote alone. When Democrats win them: Here's your two fucking EVs. Congratulations. Then the rest of the state votes separately and delivers its 18 Electoral Votes fairly. Same with Detroit. Same with Madison. Same with Georgia. There's no law against this. Other states already apportion EVs by electoral district. There is a wrinkle here, in that only some districts are being separated in the vote, but there's nothing in the constitution against it. The Constitution says one man, one vote -- that's the limitation you have to work with. But nothing says that Philadelphia voters get to defraud all the other millions of voters in the state. They can have their votes. Two electoral votes-- here you go, have a nice day! Thank you, drive through! |
