Not to mention that the total premise is a lie: slavery was endemic in what is now North America (aka Turtle Island for some folk) because the "indigenous" folk inhabiting it all indulged in that particular practice.

Actually, those blacks whose slavers sent them westward were fortunate; they were treated relatively humanely and allowed to procreate. Their confreres who were shipped eastward (to Muslim lands) had a crueler fate: those males who survived the overland journey were castrated; the women who survived the journey and who fell pregnant (almost invariably to owners) saw their children killed. The easterners would import slaves but not allow them to have families.

Following the link chain from the article about the EDF's claim only serves to reinforce that the EDF is spewing bullshit designed to frighten the general, non-toxicologist public. Five minutes study of the concept of TTC puts the lie to everything they claim. A$$holes.

What is JK Rowling's 'crime'? She believes that there are only two genders. She believes in science, the obvious and what is clearly true that there are indeed only two genders. All other permutations of this are wrong. The gay person is a mistake of nature where either by genetic error or environment influence believes themselves the be something other than the male or female that they were born as. Call it mental illness or delusion but that does not change the simple fact that they are either a male or a female.

I have a friend who was born with no fingers, kind of flipper like appendages. He recognizes it for what it is; a genetic mistake during gestation. Science recognizes it for what it is. Almost every human after seeing it and hearing his story would recognize it for what it is. But imagine if he and every other person with a genetic mutation decided to declare they were a third gender or human form and created special interest groups that would punish you or anyone who thought different? Would that then mean that they were a different gender or human form? Would making everyone bow before the lie make it true?

True Trump and his supporters will not get justice but it is far worse that America will not get justice and these anti-democracy criminals of the deep state will stay in place and their confidence in their criminal enterprise restored to them. One way MF could best serve during these time is this:

Find a page that lists the verbal strategies for casting doubt on the integrity or intrusions of your opponent.

Find page that lists the universal indoctrination strategies of cults everywhere. How do they isolate the victim from their support system is especially critical during these times.

Find a page that lists the actions taken /by who in sequential order with regard to the Russia gate scandal. I know you think it will be long and too detailed, but I am sure there are good timelines out there that help to display the sequence of events. MF can best help by making the essential information of any issue visible on one page. For example: today we need a page that lists the items in the proposed financial bill that are pure pork barrel. Those things Pelosi will not give up on and the President will not pay for. We need the essential items listed clearly. Thank you!

We have been told that the Russiagate investigation was politicized because it was run out of FBI headquarters in DC. Now the FBI in Delaware have sat on Biden emails for over a year without taking any action and in fact telling the computer shop owner to keep quiet about them.

Swat teams including frogmen arrest Roger Stone for a process "crime" of "lying" to investigators. Andrew McCabe lies to investigators and he loses his job (to get a gig at CNN) but is not charged. The leadership of the FBI participated in a partisan political dirty trick that cost the country at least $40M and untold damage to many people's civic and financial lives. So far nothing has happened to these perpetrators (save one lawer) other than some of them benefiting from lucrative book deals.

There is severe rot in the DOJ and it's not impacting blacks. It's impacting conservatives. Conservatives comprise of the one side of the political spectrum that generally respects the institutions of of our government and if that side decides that those institutions can no longer be trusted, the whole country will be in deep trouble.

Not saying I'm right, but it kind of sounds like an ongoing investigation? E.g., fact-checking content that was on the disk, investigative timeline-building, waiting to see who comes to pick it up? All of those would be fundamental to building a case.

We can only speculate on what the content might hold, but if it were explicitly toxic illegalities - say, outright sedition or child porn, for instance, not stupid crap like smoking crack - then I could see the FBI being very, very careful.

Roger Stone's arrest was a bizarre abuse of power, I think most people understand that now - and it's becoming clear that there was a small group of very senior second-tier people in the FBI who abused their authorities, conducted unsanctioned and indefensible FISA activities illegally, and lied to their bosses about it. Not mentioning any names, but one of them's initials are Andy McCabe.

There are always possible reasonable explanations for things not to happen during an investigation but those emails were evidence during Trump’s impeachment. Their existence should have been made known to Trump’s defense.

Your last paragraph is to my point. McCabe has not had to endure the kind of treatment afforded Stone or Manifort nor was he bankrupted like General Flynn or any of the other of Trump’s hangers on who had to hire lawyers while they were being investigated for their part in something he knew (or should have known) was a political farce.

There has been no similar treatment of the perpetrators (or any of the resent Democrats who have been caught in in various kinds of crimes). But then there haven’t even been any changes. That sort of thing seems reserved for Republicans.

The swamp is a rich ecosystem, with many species of reptile - Republican and Democrat both, who consider Trump a threat to their way of life.

As you say, the laptop was in FBI custody at the time of impeachment proceedings. What if the impeachment was partly an attempt to get Trump's DOJ to play their cards defensively to protect Trump, just to find out how bad the evidence was?

What if it includes evidence of Republican corruption? Don't forget, in addition to Hunter, there's a Kerry, a Pelosi and yes, a Romney family interest in play too with all this international hustling going on. Not trying to be a firebrand, I just don't trust any of the swamp creatures any further than I could spit a dead rat. They've all gotten rich in office.

It isn't surprising that someone would name the 1619 project as a top 10 story of a decade. After reading what social media and crackpot newspapers report on history it also is not a surprise that a NY university journalism school named it as a top 10. Tells you all you need to know about price, quality and propaganda in academia today.
