Did they initially think it would drive a wedge between Trump and his "rube" base? Then why sustain the narrative when it failed, except maybe it served as an excuse for Hillary and served as a tool for harassment?

Progressive leadership in these communities don't want to help the homeless, addicted and/or mentally ill. They want the money they grift from the taxpayer for themselves, their agencies, and pay-off for favors. As long as they have a problem they will continue to be well-funded/

20% of Californians vote, and of those 80% keep voting in the same dirty rotten scoundrels who use the system to enrich themselves and their cohorts? Sickening. These soft-hearted virtue signaling do-gooders, like the author, have brought this on themselves, but worse, they are bringing it on others who had no hand in creating their particular brand of hell on earth.

The author threatens that if something isn't done (like what? Lining up the villains and shooting them? I wish) Californians will simply flee the hell they created and bring it to whatever community they infest.

America's border wall needs to be moved inland to close off the coastal cities of Las Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Santa Barbara, Venice and any other communities that are overrun with street vermin. Additionally, all illegal aliens need to be rounded up and put behind that wall to enjoy the petting and pity they will receive from the "normals".

The entirety of the progressive left are mentally ill, evil, or both.

She did it all wrong. She presents herself as smart and understanding of human nature and she did it all wrong. She should have remained totally anonymous and sabotaged the lady. Place poison 'treats' out for the dog. Thrown large rocks at the van (not from her property). Tossed stink bombs into the van. Get anonymous cell phones and call 911 and report that the van owner is shooting a gun from her van.

There is no mention of any privately owned cars being banned. You just can't buy a new one.

Low mileage late model used cars could be imported into the state and I don't see why you couldn't buy a new vehicle out of state and have it delivered to California.

In any event, this is just grandstanding on Newsom's part. Some future governor will quietly rescind the order at a later date.

I hate misleading headlines like this. It's beneath Maggie's to post them.

However, if California residents are truly outraged by the EO, they could always start a recall movement. It worked on Gray Davis.

(Hint: what is really going to happen is that they will ban gas stations as an environmental hazard. You can have all the gas-burning cars you want, you just won't be able to drive them.)

"The taboo on reporting race"

I St Louis 100% of murders are committed by blacks. The media doesn't need to report the race.

One of the clues is when race is omitted. As in they give you the age and gender of a suspect but no race. So you know they mean black. Or they call them "teens". They could be 24 but the news calls them "teens" so again you know they mean black teens.

With illegal aliens the clue/tell is when they don't give you their mane. Another clue is when they start the report by calling him a resident of the particular city or state where the crime took place. They never call and American accused of a crime a "resident" of L.A.

IN most high crime cities, like Chicago and Baltimore, the murder rate by blacks is about 80% and by hispanics (illegal aliens) is about 18%, so again they don't need to report the race.

But if a white person commits a heinous crime they "gleefully" report the race.

We don't think you're getting what you deserve - we think you're getting what you voted for. Of course, as you say you are a "bleeding heart" we are making some assumptions here.

And nowhere in this article did you mention:
1. That you have substantially changed your thinking, as a result of this brush with reality.
2. That you are reconsidering your options for the types of candidates you would vote for in the future.
3. That you are committing to get more involved in the system to bring about change for your benefit.

It appears to me that you are comfortable still pretending you are in Paradise, since the nuisance has been removed. Now you are back to dreaming about housing camps for the homeless and mentally ill - located somewhere else, out of sight and safely NIMBY. My advice is, stay in Paradise.

Here’s a modest short version of CRITICAL THEORY:

Metaphysics: utter subjectivism. There’s no objective, external (to the mind) reality.
Epistemology: faith. Fee-feez rule. Everything is a “social construct”. (1)
Ethics: self-sacrifice. Man is none. The ant-hill is all. Everything inside the ant-hill. Nothing outside the ant-hill. (2)
Politics: Utter collectivism. (3)
Esthetics: Anything that is bad for an individual human mental health is good for the ant-hill. (4)

(1) Epistemology: Reason need not apply. A reality external to the mind doesn’t exist and so reality is whatever we think it is. Or “you can eat your cake and have it, too” if you have enough “free” cake magically appearing before you, all the time. That is the why of their obsession with the “social construct” If reality doesn’t exist they need something to anchor their BS. “Social construct” stands for the one-hive-mind.

(2) Ethics: Obedience is our MO. The purpose of a man’s existence is to continuously make enough “free” cake so that everybody can have plenty according to the dictates of the one-hive-mind and to be jolly and happy with what the one-hive-mind dictates is his “fair share” Dissenting with the one-hive-mind is the worst of sins and you’d better not.

(3) Politics: Collectivism, communism, revolutionary or cultural marxism, progressivism, “liberalism” (demonrat chapter) and all the rest of their chameleonic denominations.

(4) Esthetics: We’ve got to keep grinding the humanity away from them. Don’t ever let them get even near objective reality and rational values. Don’t ever let them lift up their heads to the skies. They must be made to know that they belong in the muck and have no right to look at anything else but the muck. The individual must be grinded into sub-human leftoxenomorphism, despair, submission and obedience. Brutalism, today’s “music”, post-modern anything, women’s “liberation”, sexual “liberation”, hollyweird, drug culture, conformity, hamster behavior, perpetual leftoxenomorph propaganda a la “1984”, the lowest forms of entertainment possible, keep value and exaltation away from them, keep their minds in the gutter, make them believe there’s nothing outside of the gutter, it never ends. Cultivate idiocy as the highest of standards. If they don’t understand tell them that is the “proof” that what they don’t understand is “above” them and the highest of values. “That thing is very valuable BECAUSE you don’t understand it.” and “whatever you understand is of no value, at all” and “if it makes you feel horrible, that’s good for ya”
