We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Yes, the FBI did collude to overthrow a duly-elected government

It's pretty-much obvious now. Scott explains.


When will the media explain it as one of the biggest scandals in American history?  Probably never.

Just try imagining that it was Hillary who won in 2016 and a government agency trying to overthrow her reign of terror being exposed. It would be a Vast Rightwing Conspiracy, Part II. But then again, after her media minions exposed the plot those implicated would all die...suddenly.

So that is one difference between her and Trump.

I think "overthrow a duly-elected government" claims a bit more than was actually intended.

All they meant to do was overthrow part of it. It was meant to be more like a palace coup, where only the leader changes. I don't think they care about Congress or even the Supremes. Those are minor inconveniences to the agencies.

The USPS Just Filed A Patent For A Blockchain-Based Secure-Voting System

As i keep saying, Mr. Trump needs to don his Hercules outfit and divert the Potomac River thru the FBI Building and any other executive-branch offices as he deems necessary.

The FBI does not operate without direction from above. The coup was launched well above Comey's level.
