Waiting for Dem pols to be asked to denounce the attack on the Ronald McDonald House in three, two, one…........………. You know, if the script were reversed, Republicans would be hounded 24/7 .
Finally, the attack on Ronald McDonald House was bad PR, but that’s the risk when your shock troops have room temperature IQs.

Chicago’s Michigan Ave is a commercial and residential area (of the wealthy, CEOs, and professionals). Were the attacks Sunday a harbinger of more generalized attacks on residential neighborhoods. I know, I know, in other cities, they have marched on the more exclusive areas but it was to target a specific individual.

Well, i, too, am exasperated.

This quote from the Chicago Ronald McDonald house spokesperson is the reason:

[We were] very concerned there was a lot of activity right in front of the house, people making choices that could put them at risk and put our families at risk, so the staff was frightened,” Lisa Mitchell, of Ronald McDonald House Charities, told ABC 7 Chicago.

Do you see what she did there?

She expressed concern for the rioters before the families. Her "people making choices" are the rioters "that could put them at risk" .

This kind of shite is making me crazy! Like the moran couple (interviewed on fox) whose business has been looted twice since june. They get an opportunity to blast a little outrage at the bastards and their pathetic response is complete soft-lefty simpering.

Stupid soft-lefties that care more about offending criminals than sick children and God Almighty.

I understand your frustration with the people that have been hurt by these "peaceful protesters", but they know if they say anything bad about the rioters they will return and damage them even more. The same reason people are afraid to put out Trump signs and flags. They don't want their body, house or property destroyed. We live in a semi rural area and one farmer had two Trump flags stolen in two days. The people that support the other side have no moral values even though they claim moral authority. What absolute bull$hit!

Your POTUS muses over delaying the presidential elections due to COVID and there's a storm of outrage.

However, I noticed in the news this morning that the PM of New Zealand is now considering delaying elections in the light of the COVID problem. Not a peep of indignation, as far as I can tell.

Either that means New Zealand is an insignificant and remote country or - much more likely! - everyone is so enthralled with its "progressive" female PM that she gets a pass on criticism.

You could be right Phil. I dunno. Writing from the conservative angle may be how he got his foot in the door for being a columnist. Who knows?

The fact that he went in the tank for Hillary gives credence to that line of thinking.

I would speculate the nomination of Trump embarrassed and humiliated Will. He was telling all and sundry that he would not support Trump and the other candidates were better. When Trump won the nom it showed how little attention people paid to him and the insult was just too much.

By opposing Trump, what influence he had has shrunk to insignificance, and that must really burn his butt.

One wonders how much real traffic to his columns has dropped over the years?

I bet there is just a fraction of his former readership there today.

I am calling bullshit on this story. I don't think it is true.

Cows are docile animals. They just want to be left alone and will walk or run away from a two-legged intruder in their space.

Herds of cows do not eyeball a person in their pasture and then decide to stampede over them. Doesn't happen. Ever.

In a pasture situation, the only way a person could get hurt by a cow would be if they started handling her new-born calf. Their is a tiny minority of cows, less than 1% in my view that will attack someone for handling their baby, but even then, they will use their head as a weapon and try to grind the person into the ground. They might step on a person in that situation, but trampling isn't a strategy.

In any event, a quick retreat from the calf and she will leave you alone.

When people are hurt by cows it is invariably in a confined setting, where the animal can't get away and feels it has no other options.

More than a million people have left NY City in the last 2 months. Businesses are closing for good and moving to Florida. It is the real life beginning of "Escape From NY City". Will the last person to leave turn the lights out please. OH! Wait! Con Ed has got that covered.

I was not one, but I know many people love big cities like New York for the varied cultures, clubs and entertainment. Now even many of those are realizing that it's not worth it.

The unfortunate thing is that a lot of people who can't afford to leave are going to be left behind with the criminals. To make matters worse, they are in a city with a shrinking tax base making them more vulnerable.
