Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

"Americans Reject Joe Biden's Radical Suburbs-Crushing Housing Rule in a New Poll" But, will they have the intelligence not to vote for Biden or in fact will most of the people even know of the plans to ruin their lives?
This is one of many, many things Obama did "with a pen and a phone." Much of Trump's first term has been spent trying to undo Obama's unilateral actions on a number of things without statutory support or Congressional endorsement.
With apologies to Ogden Nash:
Like a fanatical eugenist looking at Mr. Forrest Gump Is most of the media looking at Mr. Donald Trump. A psychological analysis of the subset of women who riot and are radical marxist feminists. It's very interesting
https://vdare.com/articles/blm-s-white-female-fanatics-big-sister-is-watching-us-but-why From the article; "Why are so many of the participants women—especially young women?"
They are bi-polar. Classic symptoms and classic actions. It very much agrees with what Eric Hoffer has to say in The True Believer.
This is a 5 minute video that is well worth the time.
Unwoke is a clearing house for job resumes but the rule is that sex and race can't be included in ones resume. The idea is that employers can pick candidates based solely on merit. Anyhow, the woke crowd is harassing and trying to shut down the site because it is 'racist' to not show race. The video also makes the point that after The Woke run sinners off of platforms, they tell them to build their own websites. However those that do just that find the woke crowd STILL coming after them for daring to have their ideas on the internet at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=173&v=Ojq2ovuWeS0&feature=emb_logo Most companies now hire employees as temps and they are only hired as regular employees after satisfactorily completing a 'temp' period.
How to Be a Woke White Person
JP Sears, the guy with the long red hair and beard on how to be a woke person. It is supposed to be funny, but is spot on. Surprised youtube has left it up. 6 minute video https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=313&v=gHSVjmO4iJY&feature=emb_logo My life pouring concrete....he get’s it, in a very articulate way. I’ve been a commercial fisherman, a welder and an Armor officer, the more you bleed in a job the more you learn about people.

One wonders if this is being used as a dry run for something more sinister? Remember that Iran was a fairly modern country and the citizens were educated. Women had rights and did not have to wear black bathrobes and masks. Now if a woman is caught outdoors without a black sheet from head to toe she is beaten with sticks. Go to youtube and search for fights over the wearing of the mask in the U.S. What you will see is Karens and Kevins throwing things at and hitting people who did not wear a mask. Sometimes the non-mask wearer is outdoors where the mask is not required.
This "new rule" created by a mayor is sinister enough. I wonder when Warren will be satisfied with the damage he has done?
Don't report rapes? Why so upset? I think 2015 was the last year the FBI reported publicly inter racial rape statistics. prior to 2015 the number of white on black rapes was almost nothing, while black on white rape was huge. Nothing to see here. Move along. Not a peep from the feminists.
Re: Pouring Concrete
I knew there would be something really interesting about such a mundane topic! Very eye-opening! I would like to think that I appreciate all forms of constructive/productive work but I have a greater appreciation for the hard, grinding work the author describes as well as some of the side effects. I think we could all benefit from learning other people's lives. It makes me wish that I had watched more episodes of 'Dirty Jobs' but I don't think they include the gritty characterization the author gave. One has to wonder how a construction worker could end up being so articulate and such a good writer. Actually, concrete is a very interesting subject. It's really unfortunate that physical labor is held in such low regard nowadays. I think that a lot of this stems from the fact that most physical work is done by blacks and hispanics. The two lowest social classes. A hundred years ago, when communities were white, having a physical job was respectable. You were a producer. But now, people aren't expected to be value creators. They are supposed to be consumers of culture. Music, Movies, etc. The implication being that the creation of any content which attracts attention is value creation. But it's not. You can't eat a YouTube video. The exchange of symbols is supposed to be the new economy. So physical objects, like a hamburger, are an anachronism. The government wants it to be taken as a given that physical needs will be met, as long as people agree to treat symbols and attention as money. So in the future, you had better be able to create interesting content, or you'll starve. You will have to sell your image, your voice, your feelings, and your attention span. Nothing will go uncounted. It's all copyrighted, so the government will always get a big cut of what you do. And every young girl will become a web-cam whore.
The answer to this problem lies in recognizing that the government, which doesn't produce anything, hates value creation. Female government employees especially hate men who work in factories. Those men are strong, they're smart, and they are legitimate in a way that female office workers can never be. There's a huge amount of envy and resentment. But the fact is that men do create value. And they should be respected for that. If there were no blacks and hispanics, then construction and manufacturing would become an attractive option for white guys again. But the girls in Washington are so full of hatred that they will try to stop that from happening. We're being held hostage by a group that wants "symbols" to be the sole source of income. They don't want any factories in America. Or any employed white men. Only consumers and producers of symbols, which can be taxed and regulated by a computer. And that's why we'll have to turn-off all the cell phones. Real people need real communities, and real food, and real respect. Not symbols. And not office girls, with delusions of grandeur. BLM Fanatics: They are!
The Leftist Effort to Revise American History: And everything else about America. MSNBC Producer Leaves Network, Writes Letter Explaining How Broadcast News is a Cancer Without a Cure: Pretty much the same as BLMers. Mayor Bill DeBlasio Launches Updated New York City Quarantine Rules and Checkpoints with Fines Up to $10,000 — Tucker Carlson Reponds (VIDEO): It's NYC's personal Bummer. Wall Street Journal editorial accuses teachers unions of using pandemic to commit 'political extortion': Why am I not surprised? Rape Shouldn’t Be Reported to Police: Keith Ellison: Can you say "Self-protection", boys and girls? Americans Reject Joe Biden's Radical Suburbs-Crushing Housing Rule in a New Poll: Bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmerrrrr. Democrats’ Worst Nightmare: Black Trump Supporters March in Los Angeles, Champion #BlackLivesMAGA: I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not bummed! I'm pretty sure it was Pete Hammill who consistently said "corrobate" for "corroborate" in an Imus interview long ago.
