We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
After viewing this, a reader commented "This makes me see how much my life sucks." The old guy is full of vitality and good cheer. Readers know how much I admire his life planning.
Fun video. Those Salt Lake Center guys are the greatest! I flew though there a few years ago in my little homebuilt aircraft and they were extremely helpful. I chuckle, though, because my low-budget aircraft has pretty much the same displays on my iPad. I not only get weather, but traffic and NOTAMS.
Flying to Vancouver is wussy. Flying to Castlegar (BC) however, is much more challenging. Had a university prof (geology) who claimed he could seriously check the surrounding rocks as the plane made its descent to the airport. As I remember, he felt he was rather too close to said rocks for comfort.
