We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
The case for Trump actually has nothing to do with Donald Trump, as President of the United States. President Trump is of course a man, but he is also a collection of ideas, and symbols. So we can start by looking at his trademark phrase "Make America Great Again". Black people hate that phrase. Why? Because they are opposed to the idea that America can be made great through the efforts of individual men. Blacks believe that only communism, and a political economy will give them what they want: guaranteed happiness. They hate America, and they don't want it to become great again through hard work. They believe that blacks shouldn't have to work anymore. And they especially resent the Presidents enthusiasm for life. America is evil because black people are poor. So how can anyone be happy in the face of such obvious injustice?
This psychotic resentment of everything will come to a head pretty soon. There's no point in "negotiating" with blacks or mexicans, because they believe that they can win by subterfuge, and the use of force. That has nothing to do with President Trump. He tried to explain that life is what you make it, but they're not listening. President Trump represents optimism, and hope, and good will. But the blacks and mexicans are so full of hatred, that they can't benefit from what he has to say.
In the event that black and mexican anger reaches a boiling point, I believe that we would be better off with a military government. It's not the President's responsibility to handle a national crisis of that magnitude. Martial law will have to be declared, and military commanders will have to make the decisions. The President may choose to remain as an adviser, but I think he would do better to give the Military Brass full authority to do whatever they think is best. President Trump has done all that he could. We're all proud of him, and hope that he continues to succeed. Most people really do want to make America great again.
The key to who you refer as "Blacks" and"Mexicans" is respect. Indeed, they understand and perceive Trump as a gracious and respectful who apprehends them and their cultures. They like his frank talk and street smarts.
Trump is crude to those who do not dare to walk in black 'hood or the barrio.
