the Mrs. and I both agree that he probably did more than he admits to but less than he's accused of.

Seeing as how the Hollywood casting couch has been joked about since the 1920s, it's pretty naïve to believe that it doesn't exist, but it's probably equally naïve to believe that there are no women willing to play the game to get ahead.

I don't think Dems fear Sanders as much as reported.

It would take a superstar candidate to beat Trump, so Sanders' candidacy comes at the perfect time. He's a throwaway candidate, who when he loses, will validate the DNC's claim that a socialist can't win. They'll purge the party of the outspoken far left, and not open that gate again.

Right now, these primaries are just data calls for 2022 and 2024.

I believe this is an unspoken but very accurate assessment of the thought of some Democrats, including powerful ones. They aren't all delusional. How widespread do you think this opinion is?

That's what the super delegate system was supposed to do.

I thought the looney left would never come back after the incredible success of Reagan but a yew years later, enough older people who remembered, appreciated, and understood what and why Reagan did died off and the same campus hippies and radicals who opposed Reagan ended up running the country during the Clinton years and the Obama years. Each time, the looney left got loonier.

I'm worried about who's going our country in eight to twelve years.

1. The Clintons spent 16 years from 2000-16 trying to ensure that there would be no center-left candidate who would emerge to challenge Hillary. When she lost in 2008, they doubled-down and either smashed or co-opted any potential competition from the center. It was only the Far-left that escaped her shadow, since not even the Clintons took them seriously at the time.
2. The generation born after the Cold War ended and to whom Islamist terrorism has always been "a thing" has come to political maturity. They just don't have the visceral responses to socialism and islamicism that older generations have.
3. It took both McCain and Romney to teach the lesson that you don't win as a Republican by saying "See, we're just like the Democrats". The Democrats will always win that contest.

I note in the article about Charles Murray that the professors are not refuting his research, just calling him names. In addition to being a free speech issue, it is also a purely academic issue of whether he has gotten things right or not. There are well-credentialed academics who will tell you that Murray's research is essentially correct. The Pinker, Plomin, and Reich books are about this.

I don't like Bloomberg. IMHO he fits the description of "little Eichmann's". He wants power and he wants to force everyone to live by rules he would not live by. But what Bloomberg said that is 'so terrible' was accurate. They do put more police in minority neighborhoods because that is where the crime is. More blacks are arrested for having and selling drugs because more of them are selling drugs. More blacks are shooting blacks, Hispanics and whites and that's why stop and frisk made sense. His stop and frisk policies saved lives, a lot of lives. It is ironic that he is disliked because his policies were so effective and saved a lot of lives. De Blasio is better liked by the minorities but his policies are allowing NY City to slide back into the dangerous city it was known as back when Dinkins was mayor.

The left chooses to make up a picture of the world that panders to certain classes of voters. In order to profess this they must deny a lot of truths and embrace outright lies. Because of this their policies are wrong and their results when these policies are implemented are disastrous for Americans. For example; "cop killing/ambushing" is now a thing in NY City. It will get worse.

With respect to Charles Murray, I guess it is now more apparent who motivated the protests and violence in his first appearance at Middlebury, a few years ago. Looks like maybe the students have wised up a little and are letting the pony-tailed perfessors do their own dirty work now? Just my two cents, but it seems that we are seeing the mask drop more and more across the social and political scenery now.....

I've read the King James version of the bible from cover to cover and I must have missed the scripture that said slavery is a sin. Slavery was common and even the code of Hammurabi mentions slavery.

Charles Murray: Both the Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Center for the Comparative Study of Race and Ethnicity (CCSRE) published pieces in The Middlebury Campus student newspaper decrying Murray’s upcoming return.
Now, that's RICH. The committee on diversity is afraid of a man who is DIVERSE from them.

Ms. Omar is a nut case.

It is not in the political/grifter/media interest to see the predictions dialed back.

My guess is that this tweak will be widely ignored. The money and power grab depends on dire global warming predictions, as as does clicks on articles.
