Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

The march through the Institutions is very real. Too many of us are willing to just work, take care of family and live our lives, while the opposition spend 24/7 trying to undermine our country and take what you have from you. If we don't wake up and fight back we will lose our country. The 2nd amendment is under attack for a reason. They don't want you to have guns when they enter the final stages of the take over.
QUOTE: "The result is what Dean Baquet, the New York Times executive editor, recently called a “generational divide” in newsrooms. " Interesting that this article on Woke Journalism only glancingly refers to this guy, when he has been at the spearhead in this very effort, conflating the NYT's editorial positions with its news reporting to serve up opinion as news to the disservice of the public. He deserves all the credit; don't forget, this is also the institution that has developed the 1619 History education program that is now indoctrinating a whole new generation of wokeness. The Long March Through the Institutions is being directed by Dean Baquet and others like him. Why not give him the credit and exposure his efforts deserve? More Sunlight, please. They're doing it to themselves. Is "auto da fe" a similar thing? Slow-motion suicide, anyway.

College slackers are big business in the US ======================== No wonder that Millennials don't get the Animal House joke where Bluto blurts out, "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" Watching the movie forom their safe spaces, those snowflakes think that's a statement of fact! Poor, poor Pope Francis. My heart aches.
And you expected what from a Marxist Jesuit from Argentina? Perhaps a fire sale for the poor and downtrodden, starting with a few trinkets from the Vatican Museum? Poor Pope?
What about the rest of us who actually respect Scripture and honor God? The better questions is truly: "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" " Police Called To School After 6-Year-Old Girl With Down Syndrome Made A "Gun" With Her Finger"
WHAT? They didn't deploy the SWAT team? Michael Bloomberg: “It’s The Job Of Law Enforcement To Have Guns And To Decide When To Shoot,” Not The “Average Citizen” Mussolini said much the same thing, far more eloquently: "Everything within the state. Nothing outside the state. Nothing against the state." See--it's easy to identify a real Fascist. "Children in All 50 States Being Taught Revolutionary War Was Fought To Promote Slavery"
Bad history. For both the Crown and the rebellious American colonists, slavery was a complete non-issue in the conflict. " Doing Western students' homework is big business in Kenya" When our son was in university in the 90's a wealthy foreign student tried to get hm to write his papers and take his exams. He declined the offer. Keep in mind that the foreign students were paying lower college costs than American students and some were almost charged nothing even if they came from wealthy families.
Public schools and public propaganda/brainwashing can not be separated. It is the nature of the secular state to promote heaven on earth and disenfranchise any competing claim. Remove the state from any ties to education by only allowing funding to parents to educate as the parent wishes their children to be educated. The failure rate of parental decisions will be less than the states current failure rate.
"Triggered Media Spits Venom After Trump’s Post-Acquittal Speech at the White House"
With regard to Trump, the US media consistently reminds me of the old French line personne n'a su ni rien oublier ni rien apprendre usually rendered in English as they have learned nothing, and forgotten nothing. I wonder if I became an armed guard and my spouse became an armed guard we could still carry and protect each other. Of course, we'd pay each other a prevailing wage like Bloomie pays his guards.
Sure. But that does nothing to protect the 2A. The 2A is the hill to die on, period.
There's truth in that. Either now, defending it, or later, because we didn't.
