OUR LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS OVER

Probably not. There will be another 4 1/2 years to try to kneecap the guy who has done so much good for this country. Few, if any, presidents have accomplished so much good so quickly. Even lefty Scott Adams says so.

Here's the real issue: If a Dem president accomplished so much good for the country, would the media hate be there? Say, Clinton. Nope.

My prediction: Trump wins in a landslide election in November. The smart Dems already know that it is hopeless because things are very good with orange man.

All this nonsense spun out of a single phone call which the president had the complete right to make and in which he didn't say what the Democrats claimed he said.

A past discussion was about Rush Limbaugh casting dishonor on the presidency with Obama. Rush said "only the holder of the office" can bring dishonor to it. I think it was wrong that Trump did not shake her hand, as an honor to the House. But he was right, in that she brings dishonor to the House. He could have been the better man and risen above it.
Things do look brighter for our gallant warrior. But don't get to cocky, there is still election rigging to be concerned with (Seattle going to a phone ballot?, Iowa problem). Also, everyone is just a heart beat away from not Being. Would the replacement hold the line?

I'd quibble about shaking her hand. The Left are very good at manipulating everybody else to play by the rules while they break them with impunity. At some point, you have to stop playing their game, or they'll shuck you like an oyster every time. For the past several months, Nancy Pelosi has not missed an opportunity to insult and slander Donald Trump. At some point, her contemptible behaviour has earned her nothing more than contempt.

I am happy Trump doesn't put up with their crap any more and just take it like Romney and other wold have, it is long past time for the Republicans to return some of their ire. You can only be nice for so long until their boot on the neck kills you.

I read somewhere that the protocol of the event is discussed beforehand during planning sessions (the same is true for all State events, there is a briefing), and that according to the protocol, Trump was not supposed to shake anyone's hand. You'll notice, he made no move to shake Pence's, nor did Pence. So in that light - it looks a lot worse for Pelosi, who reached out and then made eye contact with someone in the crowd, making a chagrined type face for the cameras - doesn't it? On the other hand, some are also saying that Trump was turning away from her at the moment and may not have seen the extended hand. I think this is also possible. The first question could be quickly answered by an unbiased press corps, which goes to illustrate again the effects that this slow poison of bias has on society.

When have we seen an "unbiased press"? I can't recall ever seeing one.

My question is this: Are the media a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dem Party, or is the Dem party a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Media. Is there a difference?

my fear is that conservatives will be so sure of their impending victory that many will not bother to vote, thus throwing away that very victory.
