They were fine with "One-Party Rule" in Russia when it was Lenin and Stalin doing the ruling. And they would also be fine with it if Schwartz György was in charge.

Schiff is a prosecutor. His performance; weaving a web of lies that support his case, is typical of a prosecutor. They are not required to be truthful and in fact probably would be fired if they were truthful. IMHO that right there is what is wrong with our legal system. Everyone who opens their mouth in court should be under oath. IN fact every politician, appointee to government office and every employee in the government should take an oath of office that includes putting them under oath for their entire term/employment. And they should be held to it every second of their public life.

I also do not agree with laws that make it a crime to lie to police or FBI. IF the police or FBI want to question you they should put you under oath. This "lying to the FBI/police" is probably unconstitutional and is clearly abused by the FBI and police.

Under oath, with witnesses and a transcript. It should be impossible to convict someone of lying on a he-said-she-said basis, especially if the alleged misstatement could even conceivably be an error.

I saw an interesting PBS program about the Greeks and Assyrians who were part of the Armenian genocide by the Ottoman Empire between 1913 - 23, two nations whose losses were never included in the United Nations address of Armenian casualties. It tied up many a loose end for me who has had many friends and associates from those communities who always managed to keep a distance when discussing their heritage and their high devotion to their displaced communities. Now the documents fill in those blanks.

Hopefully, the Internet will bring more access to that which has been buried by our government and media so We the People will not get sucked into the self-serving interests of a very elite legacy group still thriving in our government.

Wuhan virus: reason to panic.
Latency period before symptoms is 7-14 days.
Travelers from Wuhan to US is significant number.
My wife, from Wuhan, is panicking, as she knows a number of visitors coming from Wuhan to the US.

Checking for fever at airport (first screening done) is not satisfactory for those in prodromal period.

WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department on Monday warned against visiting China and said Americans should not travel to the Hubei province, given that the province's city of Wuhan is ground zero for a new deadly coronavirus.

The State Department has already ordered the departure of all non-emergency U.S. personnel and family members from the province and the "U.S. government has limited ability to provide emergency services" to its citizens there.

It said travelers should be prepared for the Chinese government to put travel restrictions in place "with little or no advance notice." (Reporting by Lisa Lambert and Makini Brice Editing by Chris Reese)
