We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Premier 1 Driver is one of those highly-competent people. He has the vibe. For him, a jet is just a fast car. Ex-military pilot, as I understand it. Jets people around like an Uber driver. It's a highly-paid gig. Also drives race cars, Porsches. And runs his own medical supply business, so he's done more than most of us in life.
Take a ride Vancouver to Fargo, with his Mrs. I believe she is a pilot too, not sure. Copilot.
It's all about the radio. He is quick, which is much appreciated by the controllers.
All that means is he gets to work the real crap jobs. I've been my own boss for 50 years, its way over rated. I couldn't pay anybody to do the work I've done or the schedule's I've had to work.u
FRP, the Business is called Modular Devices, Inc. Provides mobile/modular CT and Catheterization labs for hospitals. Family owned...IIRC was started by Greg's parents. He's currently COO. Based in Indianapolis (though he may have just moved to Naples, FL...the business is still in Indy). As he's explained, they have clients in many smaller towns throughout the midwest/mountain states that are difficult to get to via commercial air travel and having the jet allows them to visit clients out-and-back in one day. Good guy, cool videos. He's got one on YouTube driving his Porsche around the motor speedway F1 track.
Here's a link to the first Premier1Rider cockpit trip:
No hot babes or million dollar aircraft in this video, just a plastic airplane that I built in my garage being flown by a fat old bald guy. The story behind the music "Caruso" is very poignant, and so are the lyrics. Look them up. Sorry, I don't do YouTube.
