Imagine being one of those poor fools who are part of Hillary's inner circle. If you don't "pressure" her to run now, what might she do to you later, if she does regain power? Ask Vince Foster, Ron Brown or one of those Arkansas state troopers who were on the wrong side of her horrible anger.

Just out of curiosity i muted the "news" reporters and explainers.....these are not happy people. There was no glee on their faces, no we got him now expressions. Even the left are unwittingly telegraphing ing their disappointment.

I was watching the markets yesterday. I'm going to figure that the major financial groups (companies, brokerages, whatever) have political tea leaf readers who have been watching what's going on - and advising their companies accordingly.

Their emphasis is on making money after all, not supporting any particular political group. If they felt Trump was in trouble, the market would go down. If not - it'd stay the same or go up.

The market rose throughout the day, ending up 92 points to the good, and WELL into record territory. So I'll make a wild assumption here and think that they're not seeing anything at all that's impeachable.

This was the last, best hope for the Democratic party. What's next for them?

This article affirms my observations about transgender people. I think they're just a collection of misguided souls who long for something they can't have. They belong to the group of people who travel through life perpetually sad, dissatisfied and unhappy with their lot, their spirit not fully integrated with their physical body. Unfortunately our society in this age seems to encourage obsessing on such self-ish things, amplifying matters that would normally be pushed aside in the pursuit of day-to-day survival. Modern life is too easy on us.

To them, I say: The truth is, while you are fascinated with yourself, you're not that interesting to the rest of us. We just think you're sad, but that doesn't mean we're all 'angry' at your presence in our life. A person doesn't have to be 'angry' to defer engaging with you. Maybe some of your family members choose to reject you because you chose to do the same to them, first. You want to swap genders, go ahead, get after it, and good luck. In the meantime, my attentions are reserved for the things I find interesting; I have more important things to do than cheer for your gender parade.

Now, some of the ideas in your economics books, on the other hand, seem interesting and I may choose to read more about them. My attention, My choice.

All of this transgender ideology is so retrograde. It’s unbelievable to me how people are pretending that this sort of stuff is progressive in fact is trying to take us back to sex role stereotypes from the 1950’s. I’m still a woman even if I never wear a dress. I’m still a woman if I hate vacuuming. And perhaps shockingly to Professor McCluskey, I’m still a woman when I refuse to be subservient or submissive towards men - Including man who pretend to be female.

Yes, and the weird thing is the notion that, in order to transgress gender stereotypes--assuming you think that "real" men don't perform unsolicited acts of assisting with household tasks--you've got to surgically alter your genitals. Maybe you could just start acting like your idea of how a human being acts?

I understand as well as anyone the pressures women sometimes feel from others to act within gender stereotypes. I've made a habit of flouting many of those stereotypes my whole life. I don't need genital surgery or hormone supplements to practice law, earn a living, defend myself physically, speak my mind, carry my own dang sweatshirt in case I get cold, or anything else somebody might think only a man is supposed to do. Why would a man need expensive invasive medical treatment in order to operate a vacuum cleaner or cook breakfast? And why would I want to hear about it or pay for it?

Jm01, Tex .. that's been my observation, too. I live with somebody who has both extremely lefty politics and what she considers to be highly-tuned 'gaydar', and I'll tell you that 90% of the time her 'gaydar' readings are based on things that would have her going ballistic if anybody to the right of Mayor Pete made the same observation.

The longer I live I think Aggie's description is best - there are just people who are not only determined to not only be unhappy but also equally determined that to blame that unhappiness on anything but what's going on between their ears.

And did you read enough to see that she is mad that men won't date her? Surely there are men she would want that are turned on by the thought of her transition. Why not pitch herself to them?

If she isn't willing to do that, then she shouldn't be upset when men want to date someone who has always been a woman. I expect, though, that people in that category will be the new deplorables. How dare anyone insist on dating only people who have always been a specific gender!?!?

Well that was a huge, ironically self unaware, pitty party article. There was some serious stocking of the son and his family. Celebrate me Damn you! Sounds like the neighbors lied for the family. That story was just short of: they all ran off to join the circus. Did you catch the part about all my bad behavior before was because I was a man? Now all that bad behavior is really me fighting prejudice as a victim or something.

Interesting that the family has cut off attention. If after 30 years of marriage the family is shunning you then probably you were a real a$$ long before the tour de farce.

Women don't talk like that either. Gay men do.

People like this annoy me because they aren't making the world better. They are just taking denial to an extreme.

Sex is a term from biology and refers to a classification of humans as male or female based on chromosomes. Gender is a term from linguistics and refers to a classification of nouns as masculine, feminine or neuter based on the language. See how simple it is?

Wiliams College: another one to strike off the list of places to encourage students to go. Inmates running the asylum.

Apparently, the whole incident boiled down to a couple of trans professors wanting more attention and not getting it from the college. So they resign and then want attention to their plight.

When an unruly child is being immature, either ignore them or punish them. Giving them the attention they seek will only encourage similar behavior.

The whole story about impeaching the President is just preposterous. What's really happened is that the corruption in Washington is reaching critical mass. The President can't talk about anything without scaring or offending someone. In particular, he had the bad manners to point out that the unions are destroying the country. As we all know, Hillary loves the unions, and they love her.

Pretty soon, the issue with the unions is going to become a moot point, because we are going to run out of money. At that time, it won't matter if Donald Trump is President or not. Millions of angry black guys are going to be stomping around, trying to find a target for their rage.
