That is depressing.

Look, I know that most of the left wing protesters are knowingly making false claims and supporting BS arguments and ideas for the express purpose of gaining power or more correctly putting people they agree with into power. They (most of them) aren't so stupid that they truly believe, for example, that speech is the same as violence. No, what they believe is that catchy slogans and coordinated efforts can over time suppress ideas and speech that they do not want heard or considered. So this is "acting" activists acting, they think, convincingly to push their agenda and force it on an unwilling or unthinking population. To this end they are succeeding to some extent. And I believe given more time and enough converts they will succeed completely in their goals to seize all power and rule over us. This is no different than what the Nazi party did in the 30's, what the Bolsheviks did in 1917 and what Mao did in the 50's AND it will end with the same results.

What is different however is that they have not effectively disarmed the proletariat and this is a fatal mistake. Because before they can have their Kristallnacht, before they can start loading the box cars, before they can have their gulags and before they can have a Holodomor the people will revolt. When that happens it will be more like the French revolution than "the great leap forward". Most on the left understand this, look at Virginia today:

So there will be a quickening of gun control efforts and judges making law and the people will revolt over this issue. And the bottom line is that it is difficult to forcibly take over power in a country with 60 million well armed citizens. Also, Trump was the clinker in the gears of their well oiled machine. He didn't just set them back 4 year he may have set them back a decade or more in their efforts to eliminate private guns.

What they must do is regain congress and the presidency, perhaps for a decade or so in order to reverse Trumps policies AND to actually implement sufficient gun control to give them a chance of winning. But the problem is that too many Democrats are too eager and think they can push ahead. And this may trigger a civil war before they are ready to effectively oppress and control the population.


Wake up Democrats, your party has turned communist on you.

Hold onto your guns. Their intent must be very duplicitous or they would not want them so badly.
