We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
That's funny. Obviously, the photo is not from the 70s, so what was meant by the caption?
If it's in the 70s temp.- wise, well then, aren't they a warm- blooded bunch, as pictured. Must have meant, in the 70s, by streets, even if not quite there, yet.
Maybe it's just a test, to see if anyone is paying attention, or will overthink it, being such a procrastinator, that we ramble on about the pic, rather than getting on with important stuff.
Maybe he just didn't quite remember where he took that particular photo.
I recognize that tree.
Ps I live in OKC, mostly. Boys just wanna have fun.
so what was meant by the caption?
Fifth Avenue in the seventies means Fifth Avenue in the neighborhood of 70th-79th street. See Alan Robertson's comment. As Central is on the left in the photo, the photo is looking north. Google Maps could be used to get a more precise location.
