Of course they did and the Obama administration put a poison pill into the intelligence community to prevent Obama's crimes from ever being exposed. That is why the impeachment is going forward against all logic. Why Trumps associates and family are being prosecuted, and it is why Giuliani is being targeted now. The left is desperate to protect Obama and his minions and the constitution be damned.

Interesting story! It's another example of the scale of war production where all sorts of manufacturing companies supplied the war effort. The Rockola juke box company manufactured M-1 carbines (The story of a man convicted of murder, "Carbine" Williams, developing the basic operating mechanism for the M-1 carbine is another interesting story.).

An outstanding work on the WW 2 mobilization of industry is Maury Klein's [i]A Call to Arms[/] (2013). OK, it's a doorstop of a book — 912 pages — but a very interesting read.
