It’s always a valuable list from quirky to important and I look forward to coming here every morning to check it out, so I want to thank you for doing it!!

White robots are racist? Guess Black robots are right out also. Then there's Yellow robots - guess those would be an Asian stand-in so they can't be used. Green? Nope, can't use green because Green is for environmental causes - and robots are anti-environment.

All right - Blue? Nope, can't use blue because that's the same color as a clear sky and it shows that they're envirofriendly when they obviously aren't.

Obviously we're gonna have to go with paisley.

The Gilroy shooter raised the hopes of the left; he was white and he used a "assault weapon". Indeed they pounced on this story and searched his social media and computer for any indication he was a "white nationalist" or "white supremacist". This was going to be the big one, the incident that could lead to gun confiscation. But as the story seemed to be going the way the left wanted it to a terrible thing happened. The shooter was the son of an Iranian immigrant and a Muslim. Oh the horror, the humanity, just when they finally had a shooter who wasn't a POC or far left nutcase THIS happened to destroy the meme. So the Gilroy shooter is barely in the news now.

Meanwhile in Baltimore and Chicago about a dozen Black mass shooters on the same weekend have been entirely ignored by the MSM. They don't count, you see, they are the wrong race and use the wrong guns and they just don't matter to the left. Why is this?

Activists should offer the guy 5million. Put their money where their mouths are. Or would that be like, too capitalistic?

Guy sounds like a slacker with the aid of his wife. I hope they don't breed to make more slackers.
Work is necessary for purpose in life. No matter what, there is something productive you can/have to do with your time.

My thoughts exactly.

I know from other situations I've read about that these government actions aren't usually considered takings, someone ought to change the law so that they are. The other solution is for the city to compensate the owner for the difference between what he as offered, $4.8m, and what he can get after they designate it as a landmark.

Climate scientists and their jobs: It puts me in mind of my observation that when a politician tells you that this is the most important election of our lifetime, they actually mean it's the most important election for their career. Such is their narcissism that they believe that what is crucial for them must just naturally be important for the rest of the universe.

This is a terrible mistake. Watching the video it is obvious it was not a choke hold. It is literally impossible to say "I can't breathe" if you are in a choke hold. It was a takedown hold, nothing more. Mr Garner had health issues that led to his death. He made a stupid decision to resist arrest especially knowing he had health issues. It seems likely that now NY police will be very reluctant to enforce the laws with black criminals and just like in Baltimore when they railroaded the police over the death of a criminal in custody the crime rate will skyrocket.

The current crop of dem pres candidates (and other celebs) is notable for going completely nuts in saying things so unhinged that if your friend said them you might think he had a stroke or a nervous breakdown. "You get $1000 and you get $1000 and you" or let's confiscate all the suburb land and return it to nature! or 70% marginal tax rate! or Trump is a pawn of putin! or border camps are concentration camps or etc. crazy stuff. Not even an attempt to stay connected to reality. Very strange.
