We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I wonder where Denise Huxtable would have fit on that scale. Denise was the second daughter on the Cosby show, who left to go to college during the run. Pro: Female, African American, resided in African-American neighborhood, attended HCBU. Con: two pervious generations of family had attended college, both parents had graduate degrees and professional jobs (doctor and corporate lawyer, who were always home at 5:30 to make dinner, but I digress), lived in 5-bedroom, 3-bath double brownstone.

Mueller violated the foundational principle of Law; Innocent until proven guilty. Proving him to be an agenda driven partisan not an investigator. Where is the Bar Assn?
I have ... acquanitances on Facebook who are positively delighted with what Mueller's done. I'm pointing out to them that it's a damn bad precedent to go after ANY President like this and that it's NOT in accord with the principle of 'Innocent until proven guilty' - but they simply do not care. This is THE opportunity to get rid of Trump and put the world back to the way it should be. Perhaps they figure that Hillary could take over, and roll back all the changes of the last two years.
One pointed out that this would mean President Pence, and an immediate Handmaid's Tale situation. I've thought about pointing out to her that HT by Atwood was an allegory of Islam set in a soft-core porn novel by her own admission, and that you have to be VERY careful about the stories you let yourself believe about the world. But she lives in NY, so... anything I say about it is unlikely to sink in.
Mueller was always a scuz bag. His history is replete with prosecutorial and investigative misconduct. Some of his crimes were despicable and yet the media, the left exalts him as being above reproach. His press conference/speech was simply more of his misconduct in an attempt to smear an innocent person without regard to justice, the American people and his own honor. It is obvious to even the least aware American voter that this Russia gate fiasco was and still is a left wing coup attempt to subvert our democracy and the voters mandate. I sincerely Hope AG Barr moves the investigation of this travesty into high gear.
I agree with you as far as you take it, but I think there's something more at work here. It can't be lost on Mueller that those who the Left have used as a deus ex machina has ended up being thrown under the streetcar when they failed to produce. I was watching his eyes and listening to the tone of his voice, and the impression I got was one of a worried man singing a worried song.
Setting aside its veracity for a moment, the real problem with "white men are evil" as a curriculum is that it's beyond simple to simplistic. You can teach it in ten minutes; it doesn't require four years and 2000 hours of class time to teach it.
Contrast that with, say, physics. In order to understand it's key precepts as expressed in quantum chromodynamics and General Relativity, you need to start with Newtonian mechanics, classical electrodynamics, through the photoelectric effect and atomic structure, to special relativity and quantum dynamics. Then there's the math you have to pick up along the way in order to understand it, like calculus, differential equations, up to things like Hamiltonians and Eigenvectors and other things that make me glad I'm just a lowly engineer.
All a current, I hesitate to say modern, humanities curriculum can offer is four years of listing and repeating the ways in which white men are evil.

"Goodbye Humanities—Hating White Males Is Not a Curriculum":
And THIS: "He identifies other causes, including anti-intellectual Republicans such as Wisconsin governor Scott Walker." OBJECTION! Present evidence to back up this statement.
