We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I know it's a "Hallmark Day," but, just like giving thanks to God on Sundays, if we were better people we'd show some gratitude every day. I do try.
My Mom is gone, and Mrs. BD (a Mom of 3) is in France with her Dad. Still, I am going to cook up some pan-fried ribeyes for a Mom.
Better yet, if no kids at home, take the relevant Mom or Moms out for a fancy dinner (champagne, lobsters, oysters, etc). It's not easy being a good Mom, harder than being a good Dad. Often boring, frustrating, worrisome, disappointing or even heart-breaking despite the rewards.
FYI, over the past couple of days, clicking on my sidebar link to maggiesfarm.anotherdotcom.com will first load, then redirect to: http://spread [dot] ly/?redir=frame&uid=spread5cd717e8ad7656.25120762
(remove [dot] to see the page)
If I try again, it redirects to a 404 error.
The only way I can get here is to sit with my cursor on the stop button and stop the page loading the instant the Maggie's Farm page appears.
I'm using Firefox, but I don't think that is contributing to the error. Since the page DOES load before redirecting, your stats for views may not show any decline.
Bird Dog, every time I access Maggies Farm using Firefox I get redirected to a website stating that this URL may be for sale. This began Saturday May 11 and continues today. Safari does not get hijacked.
Just thought you might want to be aware.
No other websites I access on Firefox for Mac are being redirected, and I use private window mode, ad blocker, and another protection plug-in
re redirect to site spread.ly, I've had same issue. At moment am using different web browser instead of my usual Firefox, and it seems not to be returning. This may help you in finding cause. Tried Microsoft edge as browser and redirect shows up there also
