We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I appreciate what President Trump is trying to say, but I disagree with him on one central point: voting will not solve the problem. If people really knew how the voting process works, they wouldn't even bother to vote. It's pointless. So let me give you an example; imagine that people were allowed to vote on the following referendum each year:
Citizen, vote: Up 5% or Down 5% on each issue:
1. Social Security - UP or DOWN
2. Military - UP or DOWN
3. Medicare - UP or DOWN
4. Education - UP or DOWN
5. Veterans - UP or DOWN
6. Agriculture - UP or DOWN
7. Housing - UP or DOWN
8. Transportation - UP or DOWN
Washington would never allow this to happen, because according to them, we live in a "post-democracy" world. The issues are "too complicated" for regular people to make decisions.
The only solution is to de-fund Washington. Nothing else will work.
He can run it again with only the date changed. With all the now publicly disclosed evidence, much of it brought forward by the enemies of America with an opposite intent, almost every assertion in that ad has been shown to be true. I refer to not only the coup attempt, but the other issues as well.
I see God's hand in the election of Donald J. Trump. What scares me some is that this may not have been just a blessing, but may be one day's lesson within an entire course of instruction. How will America fare in the final exam?
