We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

If the Russians had the intent to spread disinformation to sow discord and division amongst the American electorate and thereby undermine our trust and faith in our democratic institutions, their efforts were but a fart in a tornado compared to what the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) did toward those same ends.

It's funny now to look back at Hillary challenging Trump to say ahead of time that he would accept the results of the election and the "horrifying!" reaction of the media when he refused to do so when, with the benefit of hindsight, we now know that this was the usual projection and foreshadowing of precisely what their plans were.

It's the same as their "horrifying!" denouncement of Trump's "trampling on the Constitution and wreaking havoc on our sacred political norms" coming from the same people who want to "fundamentally transform" America by replacing capitalism with socialism and federalism with a direct democracy, getting rid of the Electoral College and equal representation in the Senate, administratively repealing the 2nd Amendment and heavily restricting the 1st, and on and on. It's laughably insane but not a bit funny when you realize how many people are actually taken in by their swindle.

Good comment. I know it is not very Christian of me, but I hope that Hillary suffers mental anguish every single morning she wakes up. She was oh so close to power, to have it slip through her evil little fingers, after everything was set up for her, just must drive her close to mad. I doubt I will ever see the day she is in leg irons, so her disgruntled mental health is the next best thing.

What Stacy Abrams is doing in Georgia is part of this, and it's one of the most shameful episodes in history. And yet she is treated with kid gloves and feigned credulity by the cowards in the media, who KNOW she is lying.

He insincerely tries to immunize himself from his incendiary comment.

And this guy is addressing Harvard, no less. I can only conclude that he must be reflecting elite thinking or he wouldn’t have been invited, yes? After all, universities don't invite speakers with views on which they disagree.

One wonders if overt Christian persecution is coming to the USA?

I've heard sufficient form this clown. First, is there was obstruction, why weren't there any charges? That gang clearly wanted to nail Trump and even they had to admit they failed.

Secondly, this phony assclown Napolitano has also opined that Nick Sandmann cannnot have been libeled because he is too young and unknown to have any reputation whatsoever that could have been damaged by the lies. If that's not absurd enough for you, this dickhead went on to say that Nick Sandmann cannot have been libeled because he is so well know that he is a public figure and the liars are protected because of that. Does he have zero reputation, or is he so well-known he's a public figure 'judge'? Nevermind the fact that the only reason he's NOW a public figure is that he was so egregiously libeled by actual public figures. Napalitano is a good example of why I do not trust lawyers. None of them.

I am very tired of the prosecutorial abuse of "process crimes."

This is basically like being asked by the interrogator, "when did you stop beating your wife?"

And you say, "I've never beaten my wife, you shouldn't accuse me of things like that."

Then they say, "Aha, not only did you refuse to answer my question when you stopped beating your wife, you've now committed obstruction of justice because you tried to make us desist from our investigation!"

I have no problem with the president telling these folks multiple times to shove it and that they shouldn't continue with a fake "investigation." It would be nice if he had the legal right to now sue them, but they probably have immunity for that part of what they were doing.
