We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I said this as Wellness began at my (state gov't) worksite a decade ago. Just pissin' into the wind, naturally. No one listened, as they wanted something else to be true.
If they could next go after the questionnaires your health insurance company thinks uncovers where your risk areas are I would feel even more vindicated. This is the same mentality that has convinced health professionals - or someone behind them, prodding them - to ask if you have guns in the home, as if this tells them something. It is a misunderstanding of correlation to think so, but that doesn't stop them.

About 35 years ago I shared rooms in Korea with a Coast Guard LCDR who spent the next 60 days working on his officer fitness report and those of the other 5 Coast Guard officers working with us and all of it oriented to use every single space in the remarks column to nominate said officers for sainthood and the most important block of all was work/life balance. It was a hoot I enjoyed as I consumed more HITE and NEX as he labored into the night on his laptop trying to get the last sentence to fill the last space in the format.
