We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
It looks and sounds delicious but I have to pass on the green peppers. Green peppers were great in my younger years but now I will taste them for 2-3 days.
No. Saganaki comes out fried and you squeze a little lemon on it.
Haloumi is more from Cyprsu but they have it in Greek joints. Rubbery and doesn't melt on the grill of in a frying pan. Also squeeze some lemon on it. That one has more of a rubbery texture but both are great.
indyjonesouthere, thank you very much for your comment.
All my life I have hated and loathed green peppers. Disgusting communist inspired precious bodily juice destroying vegetable invaders from the Andromeda galaxy. Or some such horrible place.
Red, yellow and orange peppers on the other hand are the perfect accompaniment to damn near anything.
