The lure of free stuff is powerful. It is impossible to both have virtually open borders and welfare. This is going to crush us. The Democrats are now saying out loud that they want to tap the SS trust fund to give more free stuff to these future Democrat voters. The laws on asylum are so bad and so weak that we take in millions of phony asylum seekers and that too is destroying our country. Once these fake asylum seekers are brought into our country there is a huge push/rush to make them citizens and once they are citizens they can bring in all their relatives and anyone they ever knew from their shit hole countries. These new "immigrants" don't assimilate, don't like us and don't want to work. There are numerous NGOs within the U.S. that helps these immigrants sign up for every form of welfare and free stuff available. Then they distribute them into your neighborhoods where they commit violent crimes at a rate ten times that of Americans. Did you ever wonder how the foreign non-English speaking family ended up in a subsidized house down the street from you? NGOs put them there, many times far left NGOs that get their funding from far left foreign nations and agencies. They are doing this against your best interests and not for your best interests. They are converting the U.S. into an "asylum nation" with the intent to dilute America's power and America's ability to defend itself.

Of course you are correct to say their is no fund, i.e. no money on deposit. BUT in the mid 50's congress did what politicians do best ands stole money from what was an actual SS trust fund. They literally stole billions and billions. They did it in the 60's and 70's too. They did it to a lesser extent in the 80's and 90's. They left a promissory note to pay it back with interest. That amount is worth about $4 trillion today. So in that sense there is a trust fund.

Well I think you turn an outie into an innie or vice versa. The exact mechanics of which can be too deep for me to understand. I do wonder though if once the innie becomes an outie if it, ah, stands up ready for duty? Or perhaps it just becomes an outie lollipop.
