There is nothing good that will come of government and the industry putting their heads together to regulate the internet. I would predict that making negative comments about LGQTB would become punishable by fines and jail time. Probably any disagreement with Leftist agendas would be treated pretty much the same way. And of course there would be a tax that only the working class would have to pay so that the indolent class could have free internet. Beware any of the big tech companies getting behind closed doors with our politicians.

Yeah, I remember that country. I live in a state, Colorado, that has zero respect for the second, fourth and fifth amendments (Red Flag Law). No respect for due process, no respect for the right to face your accuser. As an illegal alien you can pretty much do what ever you damn well please though. Maybe I should renounce my citizenship and come back across the boarder as an illegal?

This "red flag" law just legalized "Swatting": the chance to RAT on your neighbor or someone you don't like or someone who says something you don't like , in the hope they will resist the unlawful, unconstitutional police raid and subsequently be shot by the police!

Typical Progressive/Leftist totalitarians, encouraging neighbors and family to INFORM on each other! Just like in NAZI Germany or the USSR or Cuba or.....[fill in the totalitarian blank]

When I worked (I'm now retired}I had to fill out an I-9. Why? Why not just tell my potential employer I'm an illegal alien and then I don't have to prove I'm a citizen. Why do these laws only apply to legal citizens? Illegals arrested for DUI don't go to jail or to court they are released in secret so that the ICE doesn't know about it. Why are illegals not required to obey our laws and why do far left politicians aid and abet their crimes?

The only way to beat any of these top-down do-as-I-say edicts is with grass roots show of force by numbers. I've come to the conclusion that my vote only counts when I am able persuade at least 3 other people to vote similarly, on the strength of the arguments.

The choice with Facebook is crystal clear. Persuade your legislators to treat them as publishers thus forcing them into First Amendment crisis. get at least 3 other people to join you. prepare the letter, send it out to others. In the meantime, don't use FaceTwit; You're just feeding the beast! Try reading the newspaper instead, preferably in a Chik-Fil-A.

I want to see the money trail. The fine AG, Eric Holder got billions of dollars out of banking institutions in fines for their corrupt practices. Where is the money? Where did it go? There was one Wall Street Broker who got to stay out of jail for a huge fine. Where is that money? What is that guy doing today?

Several of the worst offenders in the banking world were clients of the law firm that Holder came from and went back to after leaving his job as AG. Why isn't anyone doing anything to follow up on this story?

If a person is subpoenaed to testify against a company or agency in one case, can that witness then turn around a file their own case against the same company or agency based on their own experience with that company?
