Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Oh my God!
I just looked around to see what my walls were doing.
So far, so good.
I must not have read the Democrat talking points.

Those were imaginary DNC/Hillary walls. Now that they were found to be a figment of their imagination let's focus on those border walls and build them high and wide.

Wait!!!! Many different people all parroting the same words to describe a situation!! Why, isn't that like they are in what Zach calls an... "Echo Chamber"? Or maybe they were getting... "Marching Orders"? Could they be repeating... "Talking Points"? It sounds like they were... "Marching in Lockstep"!

That's only one example of this sort of groupspeak. Remember "Gravitas" when talking about W. Bush named Chaney for his VP? And then there was "Bombshell", and so many more. They seem to have all the creativity of Hollywood where they rehash old movies and generate sequels rather than come up with something new.

That was fun. Can't say it increased my respect for the talking heads.

It also showed me I was justified in not watching the talking heads- except for comic excerpts like this one.
