Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

How complicated are things in Lebanon? Breibart

Here's the first paragraph from the AP writer:

"Israel tightened its seal on Lebanon, blasting its air and road links to the outside world and bringing its offensive to the capital for the first time Friday to punish Hezbollah and with it, the country for the capture of two Israeli soldiers."

no bias, or perspective,
(or mention of rocketing Haifa) there.

minor detail - that Israel has been attackek in a concerted effort from two sides

to be fair,the mention of Haifa(ie the "mitigating facts")comes up,as always...way down in the copy of the story.

no mention of Hezbollah conections to Iran.
no mention of possible Syrian participation and support for Hezbollah under pressure from Iran.

a Palestinian Authority wholly run by Hamas.

Lebanese Cabinet has two cab't members who are
representatives of a recalcitrant,non-cooperative
terror syndicate(Hezbollah)being run as proxies
by Syria and Iran.

so much for border integrity.
