We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Indian medical student kicked out of college by racist white professors for questioning their SJW beliefs

Kieran Ravi Bhattacharya was a medical student at the University of Virginia and he has been kicked out after having questioned his white college professor's SJW beliefs.

Notice how 14 out of the 16 people at that suspension hearing are white people. If this is not an act of racism against a sincere indian medical student, then I don't know what is. Look at their smug arrogant faces as they kick him out for DARING to question their SJW beliefs.

Well, maybe. You made a long post and gave zero enlightenment. What was the professors opinion that upset the student? What did the student say? It seems that it would be easy to summarize that but all we get is click bait.

As for your point that 14 of the 16 people are white; THAT is racist. So we should take your word and you have already shown yourself to be a racist?

Coworkers and acquaintances from across the US often ask me how it is that such a political blue state as Massachusetts will routinely elect a Republican / Conservative to the office of Governor? I explain, patiently and easily, that this is because those elected Republicans are not Republicans or Conservatives when their policy positions and actions are compared to an objective agreed upon definition. These folks, like Charlie Baker, are prime examples of that political species known as the RINO.

Nike made a business decision. Look at the NFL & NBA and look at the people who buy the signature Nikes.

Time will tell if embracing Kaepernick's anti-American protest will benefit Nike or the NFL. Perhaps most Americans will shrug their shoulders and go back to paying hundreds of dollars for tickets to the game so that these spoiled ignorant athletes can all become millionaires while sticking their middle finger in our face. I refuse to watch football and I would refuse to buy Nikes but I have never bought Nikes.

Used to buy NIKE's but don't anymore. Used to watch football but don't anymore, mostly because of this SJW nonsense but also because of the interminable interruptions that distract continually from the game's natural flow (same for the live football experience, by the way). I think all of this is ultimately driven by the frenzied interests of commercial marketing, the continual demands for viewer's attention to the Big Screen. Not doing it. Feels too much like the goose being force-fed to explode his liver for pate'. I'll read instead.
