We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Wow, sounds like they're worried about their role in the attempted coup against a US president being exposed. Why would they need to shield Theresa May if it is only about sources/methods? And a complete gag on diplomats discussing it publicly? They are diplomats because they are diplomatic and capable of discussing issues publicly. This response seems very suspicious to me. Active MI6 probably worked with Steele & other Democrat employees on the libel dossier.

Not just MI6, but Canada's CSIS and Australia's ASIS, and Germany's BND as well. New Zealand does not seem to have participated. And yeah, Germany is not part of Five Eyes, but the "intelligence" agencies don't care. NSA was providing facility space and equipment to each of those, and then they shared what they got with NSA and CIA and FBI. Because it is not a crime for those agencies to spy on US citizens without warrants.

God damn every one of them to hell for what they have done to this world.

There are people who should be entrusted with political power.

Trump isn't one of them.

He didn't rise through the political ranks, learning who to toady to on what issue. He didn't get elected at lower levels, by making promises that he never had intentions of acting on.

He didn't wait until it was 'his turn', after proving his loyalty to the political establishment.

He dared to run like he actually wanted the job - making promises and keeping them if not actively stopped by his political 'betters'.

If this continues, he may get others to think that THEY could do better than the political 'elite'. And while he may be right, how can you sustain an elite class when anyone who wants to can simply go into politics?

Whenever there are large group shots of the migrants on the move I have trouble picking out any women or children. Still photos, or places where photographers got to set up for a few minutes, suddenly women and children.

It would be a terrible precedent, of course, but it would be amusing to say "Okay, we'll process the asylum claims of women and children first" to reveal what a small percentage it is. Though there would suddenly be lots of guys in dresses and 10-year olds with mustaches, I suppose.

The Russia, Russia, Trump probe has got to be the biggest con the world has ever seen. How the heck did Trump manage to get elected? Our supposed closest allies were all in cahoots with the DC swamp, and Hillary, to keep Trump from power. What did they have planned for Hillary’s term in office?

The 2018 election, showed just what lengths they will goin order for the left to win. It was met with a giant shrug of the shoulders from the American population. Trump, and his kind will not win again. The elections of 2020 will be very dirty, nothing but brutal force, will stop them. They are capable of great evil.

Every single day, they tell the population at large, through the mouth pieces of media and academia, that it is perfectly acceptable, and correct, to blame white man, for all that ails society. We shrug this hate speech off, and do absolutely nothing about it. We live in perilous times, masked by great abundance of material things.

None of us alive today, can change a single thing about what has come before us. The left seem to be capable of only scratching festering wounds, thus allowing the poison of hate to fester. Forgiveness and empathy are so foreign to them, that they mock and deride it when they encounter it. The one religion that has as its core dogma, empathy and forgiveness; its leadership scandalized with selfishness and cowardly concessions to the world, is being devoured. We truly are standing at a great precipice: Off the cliff, is the destruction of liberty, more slavery. We may not be in chains, but we will be controlled. It is the history of humankind. I pray that we don’t get pushed off.

Anyone encountering delays in Maggie's website loading up … and when wanting to read the comments section? This past week, it seems an unusual lag time occurs.
