Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

I like Mia Love too (donated to her campaign). This is why trump will not be remembered as a successful president. He does not inspire nor reciprocate true loyalty as a leader. He successfully transmits the image that it's all about him. The voters know that he will not protect his own people so why would he protect them. His insults, slurs and pointless anger alienated people who would otherwise support him.
When Burt Reynolds died I remembered what he said about trump when bother were team owners in the USFL. Burt said don't let Trump do to the USA what he did to the USFL! TRUMP does not inspire "true loyalty"??? WTF??
Then, just what did Mia do after she was begging for and got help from TRUMP for her pet issue? She turns around and bites him! That's "true loyalty"??? LOL! TRUMP made elections promises and then actually kept them! That's the mark of a successful POTUS; not some fake "Hail fellow well met, sorry you lost" shout-out to a traitor like MIA! (No matter how much YOU like her!) Get real! Politics ain't bean-bag! I, too, donated to Mia Love in the past, but she choose wrongly and followed the path of Romney and the never Trump crowd. POTUS is right. Sometimes the truth is hard and I love President Trump for speaking the truth.
Glad to hear someone say what she was turning into. Same with Flake. What follows may be worse but they strayed from what people put them in to do.
Agreed! - she won her office by promising Tea Party principles, but went native as soon as she got to DC.
Trump called out exactly what took place. You called for his help? You won an election (10 out of 11).
You distanced yourself from him to sidle up to NeverTrump and Conservative Inc.? You fall by the wayside. He's got to be more of a gentleman and keep that quiet? Bullshit. You want cozy kisses in politics, get a freakin' dog. Glad others agree.
Trump may be a jerk in how he teaches, but there was a lesson here. I agree. If you want someone's endorsement, don't distance yourself from his priorities.
We are at war with the left.
We cannot win this war with principles. Principles are for the losers today. Antifa again the Fascists that they are showed up for a Kristallnacht celebration at Tucker Carlson's house. From the report it seems that they may have broken a couple of laws in the process but no one arrested.
It is crystal clear which side is utilizing the Nazi tactics. Anyone with a brain can see it. My hope is that independents are wise enough to act on it before he next election.

Sure, why not? Dead people vote in Democrat precincts all the time... Excellent presentation.
"Trump And The Survival Of The West" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiEqathd3Ic Sessions is a liar, a coward, and a Benedict Arnold.
He allowed this country to be held hostage to a coordinated subversion op run by Democratic Party operatives in the FBI and intel agencies. He stepped aside as an illegal domestic spying op was cleaned up and all the evidence burned. He let all the Uranium One culprits slide. Screw him. He’s a traitor to the Constitution. Don't think he is any of those things, don't be so harsh on him. Remember he was the first senator to get behind or even encourage Trump. Other commentary have noted a legislator in an executive job. Sadly not a good fit. It also seems he is too much of a old time gentleman for these times.
The loons are on the loose. They need Trump in order to delude themselves regarding the underlying problem. The half of the country that supported Trump is, in reality, voting against the Political Media Complex which has its legs spread wide for Corporatism, Wall Street and the Globalists.
Don't count Mia Love out yet. She's only 5400 votes behind her opponent (Ben McAdams), and Utah is still counting votes from Utah County (conservative stronghold); updated totals won't be released until Friday afternoon.
When it comes to Marijuana, the Feds should make the INTERSTATE transportation/distribution of Marijuana a federal offense and leave the States free to regulate it internally. If the people of Colorado want to legalize recreational use of dope and the people of Nebraska don't, let Colorado legalize it and Nebraska keep it illegal. Colorado can allow people to grow, use or distribute marijuana within the borders of Colorado. Nebraska can ban the use, growth and possession of marijuana within its borders. Only get the Feds involved if people transport the dope across state lines. If someone sends marijuana from Colorado to Nebraska, that would be a Federal offense. The Feds can prosecute traffickers and the State of Nebraska can go after users. Let the people of each State make the call.
The bad guys in FBI/DOJ made Sessions 'stumble out of the gate.' That was not Sessions fault at all. But the fault of a corrupt FBI/DOJ. I do not see this as you do. This was likely planned to a certain degree. Sessions HAS been doing great work behind the scenes, but we have yet to see a conclusion to most such as Venezuela money laundering cases that are still coming out, Malaysia money scandal that ties to Obama, Clinton and DiCaprio, of all people, and others. Don't forget Mueller spun off cases to the SDNY DOJ regarding Podesta, Craig and Weber that we have yet to see unfold. Indictments still coming for our FBI/DOJ scandal folks, as we know there is a grand jury on McCabe and likely others. Sessions did an EXCELLENT JOB. I believe the temporary guy is there to execute what Sessions could not...cases that connect directly to HIM and the campaign and transition period when Obama admin and FBI/DOJ were spying and unmasking.
Are you watching the election in Arizona, Florida and Georgia? The Democrats are stealing it right under our eyes. Likely they are doing the same in other states but it hasn't come to our attention yet. The Democrats have done this for decades. We have become a frigging banana republic.
