Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Allman Brothers

Saw them last night. I think everyone still misses Duane, and Dicky Betts. However, they are wonderful, and they do some jazz too - they had a sax player. At the end of Melissa, every boat in the harbor was tooting. But Sonny Boy Williamson's One Way Out was my favorite. They played until 1 a.m. Live at the Fillmore? I was there.

i thought it was going to be bonnie raitt last night. everyone i knew was out in a boat . I had too many mojitos to be on the water or at the clambake so i watched MUNICH instead ...talk about downer. best weather night of the summer. happy 4th

it was a double bill - and she came in with the Allman Bros. too for a few tunes.
