Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Shame on those tech gurus. They remind me of the hollywood sweethearts who dont let their children watch t.v. Trade in filth. Probably dont even have mirrors either.

Authoritarian socialists/progressives love those federal government jobs. Job security, next to no accountability and the administrative states ability to nanny over your life, harass the nonconformers, and destroy livelihoods. It's all about projecting power and they "bathe" in it.

I grew up in a bar, but haven't been drunk since the early 90s. It doesn't surprise me that tech gurus would not allow their loved ones to become phone zombies.

What I loved most about the bastard post was that it was published on a liberal forum. Let all who have ears hear.

The article is last year's so no sense commenting on it there. But I had a similar observation. The only response they could come up with was to call names. And threaten violence.
