The end game is to crush what they see as a peasant’s revolt. Mueller’s function is to provide a legal pretext for removing the President from office. The role of the media is to misrepresent everything he does in order to trick independent voters into giving the Democrats a majority in the House. This will prevent Trump from continuing to act on his 2016 mandate.

The Democrats will impeach the President if they gain a majority in the House, regardless of their chances of securing a conviction in the Senate. Impeachment will effectively shut down his Presidency either way. Fighting it would involve so much White House time that virtually nothing else would get done. And this is an important Democratic goal.

I used to read Kling years ago. Sorry I got out of the habit, as he is quite good. The article he further links to is likewise good.

I have maintained for years that liberalism is spread by social enforcement, not reason. (Conservatives have a different problem.) It is not accidental, nor entirely just invisible censorship, that liberalism thrives on cartooning, late-night comedy, and stereotypical characters in fiction and on screen. They are two-dimensional thinkers to begin with. Those media are natural to them.

I don't keep up with what Limbaugh is doing now, but he succeeded in the late 80's and 90's by doing the same 2D thing to open a segment, then expanding it to 3D in his followup commentary. Liberals were furious to have their own tactics used back on them.

Something tells me that if it were your confused, depressed, vulnerable teenage daughter who was being mutilated and sterilized due to this fad - and you were helpless to stop it because the medical community can't be bothered to take a stand on this topic - you wouldn't find it nearly as funny.

We have to recognize that the Democrat Party has been captured by foreign anti-American interests, and should be reclassified as an enemy organization like the Communist Party was under the Communist Control Act of 1954.

Starting to refer to it honestly as an avowed socialist and marxist corrupt organization under RICO would be a good first step. Of course, a lot of it is about rampant corruption, trying to control everyone's life so they can put money into the pockets of their leaders.

The concocted Russia scandal investigation is certainly the most serious attempt to overthrow our legitimate government in the country's history.

While there may be a lot of money in poverty programs, such as Head Start or the Job Corps, the primary beneficiaries appear to be not the poor enrolled in those programs, but the middle class government employees of those programs.

Is It Worth Cutting Global Warming By Tenths Of A Degree If It Means Millions Starve? For the misanthropic Left, it's worth raising global warming by tens of degrees if it means millions starve. As long as millions of people starve, that's all that matters. They see human beings as a cancer that needs to be eradicated but not a one of them volunteers to do their part.

Indeed. And it came at the cost of the dissolution of our own middle class, but that's just the price of global progress.

And it's not over yet. The redistribution of wealth continues apace. Redistribution from what remains of the domestic middle to the global poor, while conserving and augmenting the wealth of the top .1% of course.
