Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

I'm not familiar with James McCartney's music yet, but Sean Lennon has some talent. Look him up if you haven't heard it.
Re McCain
Small, petty, entitled, egotistical, and vindictive to the end. Wouldn't resign his seat when he became incapacitated and thus deprived his constituents of one of some of their representation in Washington. He obviously thought the seat was his personal property. I suspect he would have liked the seat retired when he died and barring that, appointing his wife to it would be the next best thing. Finally Pence is 'invited' to the funeral but Trump is told to stay away. I bet McCain wondered how, the United States would be able to continue without his magnificence in the Senate. He is a MSM darling only due to his never Trump stand. He is a part of the "delivery" mechanism of the dossier. He, along with Kerry, was a participant in the POW cover up.
Could not have expressed it any better than that feeblemind.
QUOTE: Robert Mueller’s original mandate was also narrow. He was appointed to find evidence of “any links and/or coordination” between the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump campaign. Trump Jr. clearly expressed his desire to work with the Russian government as part of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the election. QUOTE: However, the conviction of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and the guilty plea of former Trump attorney Michael Cohen on grounds entirely unrelated to Russia mirror how Starr’s investigation also morphed into altogether new areas. The Cohen investigation was spun off to federal prosecutors of the Southern District. Manafort worked closely with Russian oligarchs, so that may explain why Mueller kept that as part of his investigation. QUOTE: How Trump can survive this onslaught against his presidency If the only thing discovered were some violations of campaign finance law related to hush money payments to porn stars, it's doubtful the Senate would convict — nor should they. [quote]Trump Jr. clearly expressed his desire to work with the Russian government [b]as part of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the election[\b]. [\quote]
What complete bullshit. Shame on you. According to the the kiddiez:
QUOTE: It doesn't matter if it's true or not. 😂😂😂 Aggie: What complete bullshit.
Trump Jr., son of the candidate and political advisor to the Trump campaign, received an email that purported to have information that “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father. This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.” Instead of turning the email over to the FBI, Trump Jr. replied, “If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.” {emphasis added} That supports the claim that a top campaign advisor to the Trump campaign expressed his desire to work with the Russian government as part of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the election, and provides probable cause for further investigation. QUOTE: Zzzz: ... but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump. Like Aggie said, "Complete Bullshit!" https://amgreatness.com/2018/08/27/parsing-muellers-lies-why-julian-assange-makes-the-perfect-foil/ Like Mueller, the kiddiez are making it up. indyjonesouthere: An email from who?
The email saying "I love it" to the purported offer of help as part of the Russian government's help, and even suggesting the timing, was from Donald Trump Jr.

Every email has a sender and recipient. Who sent the email to Trump? That shouldn't be a problem to answer unless this is just more bogus narrative. You said an email was sent to Trump...now identify the sender by name or take your fake news elsewhere, maybe you can shop it to CNN.

Why was Natalia Veselnitskaya in the US in the first place? (http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/342118-homeland-security-confirms-special-entry-for-russian-lawyer
What was her relationship with Fusion GPS? She met with its founder Glenn Simpson before and after the Trump Tower meeting. (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/07/fusion-gps-official-met-with-russian-operative-before-and-after-trump-jr-sit-down.html) We found out today that Stefan Halper was trying to set up the Trump campaign by hosting a conference where he invites Russians and then goes to the FBI to claim that Trump officials were at a conference with Russians - in other words, he was trying to set them up. There seem to be a lot of similarities between Halper's efforts and Veselnitskaya meeting - in other words, it was a set likely a set up. We also know Fusion GPS was paid (under the table) by the Clinton campaign and the DNC (as well as the FBI) for getting the "Trump Dossier" where information from Russian intelligence agents to supply "dirt" on Trump and his supposed collusion with Putin. I guess if you pay for it, it's ok, but if someone offers it to you for free, it's not.

I was trying to walk Zach there slowly so he would be able to keep up. If Zach really wants to examine emails he needs to understand that Comey intentionally deleted Obamas name from emails sent to Hillarys private server. Not only did Obama know she was using an unsecured server but he did nothing about it while she was running classified information over that server. Obama and Hillary both need vacation time at Gitmo.

The latest bit on the Dossier...zerohedge..it was a failed coup, mainstream media covering up phony DOJ dossier. 8/24/18 This from a CIA whistleblower and Bruce Ohr is the culprit along with Steele. At least we know the democrats believe in manufacturing something in America.

indyjonesouthere: Who sent the email to Trump?
It's right there in the link provided, Rob Goldstone, claiming to have contacts with the Russian government, a power hostile to the U.S. He arranged a meeting which included people with close contacts to that hostile power. indyjonesouthere: Why was Natalia Veselnitskaya in the US in the first place? It doesn't matter to the point raised, which is that Trump Jr. indicated he would "love" to work with "Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump". This was highly unethical, possibly illegal, and certainly constitutes probable cause for further investigation. indyjonesouthere: he needs to understand that Comey intentionally deleted Obamas name from emails sent to Hillarys private server But, but Whatabout Clinton?!

Fake email from the Crown Prosecutor of Russia. Related to the Nigerian Prince I know.
Zach, so glad you have your above Top Secret clearance now so that you can instruct us all on the classified e-mails you have read and what they really mean.
So what or who is the insurance policy Strozk texted about? QUOTE: DEMOCRAT RUNS ON OPEN BORDERS: Texas Democrat Beto O’Rourke Calls for Legalizing Unauthorized Border Crossings False. Decriminalization ≠ legalization. Crossing the border would still be a civil offense. The advantage of decriminalization is the same reason Congress hasn't criminalized living in the U.S. while undocumented. Civil proceedings do not require incarceration, tearing families apart, or all the trappings of a criminal trial. It's much easier to deport someone through the civil immigration system. Re: About McCain
I won't speak ill of the dead, but he was in no way a "Goldwater Republican" as he liked to claim. Big flap today because the white house flag is not at half staff. The correct protocol is half staff the day of death and the following day, which was done. As usual the reporters are making a big deal of nothing.
But I thought reporters were always so well informed.
Yep! O'Rourke gonna be the new senator of stupid.
"New York Times Salutes the Late John McCain, But 2008 Campaign Coverage Was Totally Classless": They only like dead or apostate Republicans. It's simply not true that the only Republicans the MSM likes are dead ones, they love Republicans who attack other Republicans. Bipartisanship, they call it.
Poverty IS a choice.
Not necessarily by those in poverty. But definitely by politicians who want to own votes. Good link about happiness vs. survival: "Suffering dissolves when we focus on creating rather than feeling.
"When we focus on creating, pain becomes integral to the process. It’s 'worth it.' We’re no longer dividing our emotional experiences between 'things that feel good to the senses' and things that don’t.' We’re dividing it into 'things that are worthwhile' and 'things that aren’t.'" |
