Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Not only was Steele on a mission to destroy Trump, but the FBI and DoJ were as well. And still are.
And I wonder just what part MI6 may have played in this whole treason??? It is to bad that Sarah Jeong is incapable of thinking beyond her self. She should go visit the Korean War memorial, think about all the dead white men that died on the Korean Peninsula, so that she can go around acting like the racist fool that she is.
Sarah Jeong: Is Trump paying her? Or is she just a tool?
I don't know, but there must be an audience for this stuff, and it must offer a reasonable revenue stream. Remember that ordinary, down to earth material doesn't work as click bait or generate traffic. The media is just as Corporatist as any other industry. To understand the Portland demonstrations and all left wing demonstrations/riots/anarchy, all you need to know is this is how Democrats get elected. They create a crisis, they exaggerate the facts and they fund and fuel violence around the issue. Their favorite issue is racism. But they need racism to actually use as a foil, so they create false racism claims. They need "human rights" issues, but when there aren't any they create them and over react to them. 100% of Democrat politicians speak and act in lockstep on these phony issues because it is how they get elected and how they get power. My own Senator, Ron Wyden, who is generally a pretty fair guy for a Democrat, jumps on the same crazy far left wing bandwagon during election season and honestly that scares me. If good and honest people can be so corrupt and dishonest just to gain power then they don't deserve that power. The Democrats are being taken over by communist/socialist groups funded from Russia and other foreign powers. They do not put America first. Be afraid, very afraid of the neo-Democrat party.
QUOTE: Trump Creates 830,000 Manufacturing Jobs in 19 Mos. — 804,000 More than Obama in Previous 19 Mos. Um, no. Manufacturing jobs have only increased about 400,000. Manufacturing growth has been healthy globally, and in the U.S. has been spurred by demand for vehicles, but is facing headwinds from trade uncertainty. Zach hates the new jobs being brought back from overseas. Zach doesn't want America to be great again. Zach prefers Obama's malaise to Trump's success. Zach is based in Russia and is a Russian troll...

Facts don't cease being facts just because you don't like them. For the sake of this discussion, I'll accept your 400,00 figure. Then you'll accept that Trump's economy produced (or "brought back") 400,000 jobs in 19 months that Obama said were never coming back. Maybe he has a magic wand!
mudbug: For the sake of this discussion, I'll accept your 400,00 figure.
Why for the sake of discussion when we provided two citations, including a primary source? mudbug: Then you'll accept that Trump's economy produced (or "brought back") 400,000 jobs in 19 months that Obama said were never coming back No one said there wouldn't be fluctuations up and down in the labor market. Look at the overall trend. More than 19 million were employed in manufacturing in 1980, less than 13 million today with a population half again as large. Of that 13 million, about 0.3 million were added over the last year. Manufacturing has changed. While the U.S. manufactures more than ever, it requires fewer, more highly skilled workers. The old unskilled jobs are largely gone. Anyone can make a basic car, including Vietnam, Iran, and China (which produces more vehicles than any other country). To compete means either making cars cheaper or making cars better. Waiting around for the old jobs to come back is senseless. Pandering to voters telling them the old jobs will come back is irresponsible. Educating the future workforce for the skills required in the new economy is essential to successfully competing in the new economy. And that was always Obama's message. "And that was always Obama's message."
Which is why it didn't work. Heh!

Pandering is an effective political strategy, but the facts don't change because people find them to be uncomfortable.

re San Francisco Bans Everything
Except pooping on sidewalks I was there in March and I didn't see any poop on the sidewalks. There were panhandlers that beat on the window of our Uber when we stopped at traffic lights. That was a new experience for me. re Thugs in Portlandia
Wow! Who knew the Feds were so easily intimidated? ICE should start offering abortion referrals and then when the protests show up claim they are anti-abortion protestors and Portland police will jump on them like stink on scheise.
The old slogan, "Keep Frisco Weird" needs updating to "Make Frisco Weirder (and Weirder and Weirder)."

The reward was a ROFL ending that deftly pulled everything together. Thank you for finding and posting the article. I would not have found it on my own.
