RE GAMING "ADDICTION" as Mental Health Disorder

Now the slackers (people who do nothing) will have an even easier time becoming moochers (people who do nothing and expect you to fund their lifestyle). They will be classified as having a disability and be eligible for a variety of "entitlement" programs.

Every addiction is simply a self-determined lack of willpower and self control, i.e. it is a CHOICE, not some malady inflicted on some victim by mother nature. However, in our modern culture where everyone is a victim and nobody is responsible for their own actions, this comes as no surprise.

The cure for this disorder is simple: A size 12 boot to the ass.

The I phone addiction is wasting more lives than any gaming addiction. On top of that the I phone addicts will even drive over you while paying more attention to the phone than the road. It doesn't bother me to see them walking into poles or falling into fountains but driving and I phoning is a danger to everyone else. Gamers...not nearly as obnoxious and I don't have to dodge them daily. If they're in the basement they aren't my probem.

Left and right never did make much sense to me...Marxism was left and Nazis were right? They are both socialists currently represented in the US as Hillary, an international socialist/Marxist, versus Bernie, a national socialist/fascist/Nazi. I place the Marxist/Islamists on one extreme versus the anarchists at the other extreme. When I notice both extremes operating together is when I get the 12 ga out and stay in the yard.

That is the meme the left pushed. But they were fascist-socialist thru and thru. Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather used to refer to the Nazi's as right wing presumably because they themselves leaned left and couldn't stand the comparison.

Just for the record the right believes in democracy, capitalism and freedom. The right believes in exploiting democracy, capitalism and freedom to acquire power which they then use to bring us socialism, anti-capitalist laws and regulations and of course oppression.

That is correct. The political left advocates equality. Marxism is an extremist belief that advocates absolute equality. The Nazis advocated a highly hierarchical society, so they are placed on the political right.

That isn't consistent with usage. For instance, monarchists and military dictators are generally on the political right.

This is about the bitter clingers. The end game cannot take place if the bitter clingers still have their guns. 'Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely' The elite want more power and those damn bitter clingers won't vote the way the elite want and won't give up their guns thus allowing them to be purged. And that damned constitution. . . What is a power hungry elite to do? But there is a possible solution, flood the country with alien people who don't cherish the constitution or democracy and convert them to the far left party by promising them free stuff. Keep pointing out things like "income inequality", and creating racism to scare the new voters. Eventually "democracy" itself will favor you and by a 51% to 49% vote you can take power. You can take away their guns, their wealth and their rights by a simple 51% to 49% vote.

There is a meme going around that any city big enough and diverse enough to have a street named after Martin Luther King is unsafe and should be avoided. Some truth in this. Now the left is putting a sign on a school for us to let us know don't send your kids here or move near it. "Thank you" would be a good response.

Perhaps. But if you watch any of the cop shows on TV you will see them pull over a car with a family in it, arrest the mother/father and take the kids to DHS. Is that callous? Often this is simply a result of the parent having a open warrant and the police (supposedly) have no other option but to arrest. But regardless of the reason if the parent is arrested in this country the child is separated from the parent. Why should we make an exception for someone who crosses the border illegally??? ESPECIALLY because the reason they bring the chiild is to use them politically for exactly this reason. THAT alone should be sufficient to show that they are unfit parents.

In fact, you are right.

Family separation is a routine law enforcement and child welfare methodology in almost every country on earth.

But of course, separating the kids from parents who are felons or habitual drug-users or who have odd religious notions about childcare or who simply cannot afford to raise their children doesn't quite have the media resonance that illegal migrants do.

(It would be interesting to see the statistics on court-mandated parent-child separations in the US or Canada or the UK.)

These same lunatics will scream to child protective services, if you leave your 8 year old in the car while you run into the store to pickup bread. Don’t even think about letting your kid run wild at the park unsupervised. Utah actually passed a free range parenting law. This is how far down the nanny state rabbit hole we’ve gone. Something that was once normal parenting, became against the rules of the bureaucracy. Now laws need to be passed, so that our benevolent government can say it is okay. The state granting rights that they never had authority to take. Resist them with every fiber of your liberty loving being!

I would never say of any Trump-proposed idea: it will never happen. We were told 6 months ago that NK would 'never' give up their nukes. And that's just one wrong prediction about Trump.

I think he will reorganize the government, but he must get the majority in Congress first, which I think has a very good chance of happening in the fall. He needs 60 in the Senate, and then things get moving. Lots of Never Trumpers 'retiring,' so wait until 2019 before you judge wht 'will' and 'won't' happen.

Some of this reorganization can be done without Congress, some will need their help.

But the possibility that Kim could rebuild his country as a non-nuclear wealthy dictatorship (of course with himself as the dictator) like Singapore is a possibility. if the Chinese will permit it. The possibility is better than otherwise necessary war to remove the nukes.

If this is one of your "credibility rebuilding attempt phases", it isn't working.

Denuclearization of Korea has been "under discussion" with North Korea since the 1980s. Every U.S. president since then has engaged in talks with North Korea.
