We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Spies

Ace:



One continues to wonder why, if they wanted to "protect" Trump, they didn't offer him a "defensive briefing," as it's called, to alert him to suspicions about believed bad actors infiltrating his campaign.


They actually decided not to brief a presidential candidate that their were people possibly compromised by Russia at or around his campaign, choosing instead to... spy on him.


Yes, that is some "protection" they were offering.



Rule #1: Spies lie.

How much money did Hillary get from the Russians, and how much did she pay the Russians for dirt on Trump?

"why didn't you spy on hillary"?

Because they worked for hillary, DoH.
But they probably did spy on Bernie and Jill Stein. They must have found something on Bernie......or maybe it was just "thats a nice wife you have, too bad if she has to go to jail for financial crime"?

Dear Alexa,
Mr. Limbaugh is asking mean things to Mr. Clapper, like “why didn’t you spy on hillary? My job is to protect hillary, obama people like Mr. Clapper and the FBI. I usually try to obscure things, but this is too hard for my brain. There are mean people who will ask me hard questions, even if I tell them that Mr. Limbaugh is poopey head. They will say hillary got a $150 million bribe from the russians, and talks to a lot of russians. They will say hillary and the FBI paid for fake information from real russians. They will ask if Mr. Clapper spied on that bad Bernie person who tried to take the nomination from hillary (I’m with her). What should I do?
