"Why Gun-Control Advocates Are Mistrusted"

Because their motives are in fact very bad. They do not want to stop violent crime or homicide, we know how to do that. They want to disarm the law abiding citizens. Simple as that. To what end? That is the question. In the end it really boils down to the simple fact that they want to disarm us because they want political changes that we would not willingly accept. Not every gun control advocate actually plans to help load us into cattle cars for our ride to the final solution. BUT, they do want the policies and political changes that will result in that inevitable end game.

We Americans, citizens have been co-opted. First it was the ruling class sending our jobs offshore and holding down our incomes while they all became millionaires and billionaires. Then it was the importation of labor to replace us by legal (H1B and college visas) and illegal methods. This has culminated in a concerted effort to also replace voters who were not yet on board with the brave new world planned for them. All of these things are essential to fundamentally change America but the resistance to these changes is palpable among 40% or so of our citizens. This is a problem. The changes are coming and the elite don't profit by outright resistance to their efforts. Some kind of police state will be required to elicit full cooperation and you cannot go down that road with 300,000,000 guns in the hands of people who do not want to comply. The guns must be seized and the citizens must fall in line.
