We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

A book Donald Trump didn't need to read

Several gals I know read this book to understand how (many) men function. They want to be man-savvy and particularly predator-savvy.


It seems like a how-to book for guys who have been disappointed in their romantic or simply sexual pursuits. Some guys are luckier than others.  Some guys are chick magnets, and they are not all tall, dark (or orange), and handsome.


It's not just rich and powerful guys who decide to give their instincts free rein. It's not just guys, either.


Interesting to me that nobody needs to write books for women about how to get appealing males into bed. It just comes naturally to them.

Interesting that the common theme between the porn star and the Playboy bunny is they say Trump was a bit unskilled and imply he was pathetic. But then they both had sex with him. Perhaps they felt pity. But then Donald Trump is known as a deal maker and these women went on to make a deal for their silence or their story but now want to abandon those deals for more money now.

And people wonder how Trump bragged about how when you are rich women will let you grab their, uhm, moneymaker. Sure it was locker room talk, but look at the kind of women Trump was hanging around with.

Just wondering if we really know that Trump was hanging around with "that kind of women" as JK Brown said.

How do we even know what's true anymore? There's such a massive agenda to get rid of Trump at any cost, and there's so much junk news out there.

I've been quite amused how the media has taken to gussying up Daniels as an "adult film actress" rather than a good old-fashioned "porn star", much in the same way prostitutes have become "sex workers".

Unfortunately for the media (and the Democrats), the problem with trying to whip up a national crisis out of any Trump-Daniels tryst is that it is all very much old hat: been there, done that.

Two words: "Bill Clinton".

All a woman needs is to just be: breathing, pleasant, not ugly and have her legs function at the top. Works on 95% of men.

Now, there are a ton of magazine articles and books for women devoted to attracting alpha males, you're just not paying attention to them!

Simple evolutionary biology. We're mammals. In most mammals females are only sexually receptive at certain times, and they signal this by pheromones, physical display ore behavior (depending on the species). Natural selection favors males who respond quickly and effectively to these stimuli. Those are the ones that dominate the genetics of the next generation... those are the ones that make up most of our male ancestors.

Makes perfect sense.

Step 1: be as physically attractive as possible.

Step 2: go to a place where appealing males congregate.

It'd be a short book.
