"Global warming on trial"

There are many variables in weather and climate that constantly either combine or counterbalance to create what we see as our climate. Our climate is not stable but for the past 12,000 years or so has been fairly stable and moderate. One of those larger fluctuations was the mini ice age that ended around 1850. It was inevitable that after the mini ice age ended that our climate would regress to the mean which means gradually warming since 1850. We still had fluctuations as the many variables interacted. The extreme heat of the 1930's. The much colder climate in the 1950's and 60's and the rather mild and pleasant warming of the 1990's. There is simply nothing unusual with our climate and the so-called global warming that some people stress about is actually our climate returning to normal. A very pleasant mild benevolent climate.

Climate change was an artifact created by activists and pseudo-scientists back in the 50's. The difference then from today is that the climate change was global cooling. The grifters realized that they could use the slight cooling trend to scare people into thinking that the world was going to end or something and maybe gain some notoriety or even profit from the scare. Unfortunately for these phonies the mild climate of the 80s ended this scam until the relatively mild warming of the 90's opened up the opportunity for the uninformed to be scammed again. But this time a new twist was added. It wasn't just a few oddball authors and activists who were running the scam, this time it was left wing Marxist socialists who were playing for big bucks and a power grab. This alone made the scam enticing to power brokers and money grabbers everywhere and the scam took on a life of it's own. It became larger than ever thought possible because everyone who embraced it believed it was the golden goose that would make them rich and/or give them power beyond belief. That is why as the warming disappeared the scam did not.

Now the scam requires historical data changes to make it appear that there was continued warming and every weather anomaly must be over hyped by a willing and eager MSM to keep the scare alive. Even as the grifters see the payoff slipping from their hands they continue the scam and double down. They are desperate, they are out of control, they often in their desperation expose their fraud but no matter because it is now do or die. Who knows when there will be another cyclical warming or cooling cycle that could be exploited again. They are now bitter clingers and like Hillary are making fools of themselves but this is the only game that they have and they are desperate to make it work.
