We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Ace:



 In the Mueller sham investigation, now that it has all but fallen apart, Mueller is now crossing a red line by digging into the President's business dealings as far back as 20 or more years ago in an effort to ruin him financially and thus force him from office. At least Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds Grassley, Graham Cornyn and Tillis are calling for a special counsel to investigate the investigation. I think it's time for PDT to shut this down, before it gets any closer to the midterms.

It's one of two things. Either Mueller is desperate to pin something, anything at all on trump, or he's trying to turn over every possible rock so when he finally comes up with nothing, the libs can't howl about what he didn't look into. I have a hunch Trump knows which it is.

Yeah, but you know the media's been frantically flipping them ever since he announced, and they haven't found anything yet. If they had, there'd have been massive rejoicing.

At some point you've got to go "There's nothing illegal there."

Can they accept the possibility that someone they hate and loathe might not be a criminal?

You csn tell journalists to pound sand but if you give Mueller an answer he doesn't like you wind up like Gen Flynn.

Clapper escaped the noose when neither Mueller, Rosenstein, nor Sessions acted on the false testimony that he gave to Congress. If there is no action taken on McCabes firing and failure to obtain a pension by this Sunday I wouldn't be surprised to see Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller unemployed by a the "tillerson tweet" method by the end of next week.

There is enough criminal wrongdoing from the Obama administration to warrant half a dozen special prosecutors. We are still waiting for someone to be punished for the IRS interfering with the 2012 elections. What this country needs a a very large dose of justice handed down to these dishonest bureaucrats.

If Mueller really is deserving of being called highly respected and committed to the dispassionate search for truth, then he would have closed his investigation months ago. Instead he is now looking into the 20 year old business dealings of a then private citizen.

Trump should announce time is up and demand a full report, as of today, of the investigation's findings.

Here's an interesting expose on McCabe (in light of his eleventh hour firing) and the whole "let's get Trump at any cost" gang. Russian collusion? Think FBI collusion instead.
